He'll get fooled the same way Lippi fooled KYG. As soon as he gets a good offer, Schmidt will leave for Europe first and KMJ will be stucked in CSL prison

LOL how can you guys even blame him? He's never going to Europe so might as well become a multimillionaire. I'm sure he's also sick of playing in front of 30 supporters every match.

Another thing that sucks about this move is that KMJ is actually quite a popular player in the league and Jeonbuks attendance has been trending upwards thanks to their performance in the league as well as guys like KMJ, LDG, Lopes, LJS (When he played there).

They get good support there but yet again, another fan favorite leaving Jeonbuk.
I was hoping he stays and they win the ACL. Been too long since a Korean club brought back that title.

Good for him I guess.. Makes his dough and he can retire comfortably..

Whether he's stuck in that prison or not is solely up to KMJ and the decision he makes in 4 years. (Assuming the club keeps him for that long, not caring about letting him walk) If he resigns for another multi million dollar contract there, the only person that will be laughing is KMJ.
That being said, obviously I'll hope that the club sells him before then or KMJ come to his senses and goes to Europe because he already made his money.

I don't think they'll bury him and treat him like sh*t considering how much they've invested in him.

    Is this Geseki’s sock account?

No Korean moves to the CSL because they get to play in front a bigger crowd nor does the league offer player development.

Their reason is the same as any mercenary that moves to that league. Their salary will double or triple. Nothing else.

Jeonbuk + CKH don't care about Korean football, they only think about themselves. And KMJ thinks money is more important than his dream. That's reality...

Source says that KMJ had an official offer from Tottenham this summer. Trustworthy? :cautious:

Probably knew he would get millions in China soon anyway.

    Cash rules everything around me.....

Do you think he would have taken this even if he had offers from small clubs in Belgium, Netherlands?

Of course you can debate if he would ever get offers but from what I've read all year he seemed to be the biggest CB talent in SK. So.

I think he's going to China cause he has no competition, that could challenge him for a place in the starting XI of KNT.

There's a difference between interests and real offers, but I think he would've gotten some real offers from Europe after the Asian Cup, so I kind of want him to wait just a little bit. Doubt that he would've had real offers already with his military problem being solved just recently.

It is reported that CSL will hold club conference in December 20th, and most likely CSL foreigner slots will be changed back to 4+1, and the calary cap and budget cap will be published, according to media it will be:

    1. salary cap for single domestic player: 15 million RMB ≈ 2.2m USD
    2. no salary cap for foreigner players
    3. club budget cap: 400 million RMB ≈ 58.1 million USD

By December 20th he's training with the KNT, I don't know if he will be allowed to go do medical test and shit in Bejin. Me the KFA? I would not allow anyone to leave training (and not beacuse he's going to China)

Team flies off to UAE on the 22nd, I highly doubt Bento would allow Kim Min-jae to leave in the midst of preparations for the Asian Cup.

They said they likely wont make any transfers in winter (in general, not regarding Korean market). So maybe we could expect something next summer. They know that they can't make big transfers anymore and to survive in BL1 they need quality.

I was wondering if sign a contract extension with Jeonbuk would be the best solution for Kim Minjae. A new contract of 800/900 k $ for year and everyone is happy.
