    Anyone else glad that this doesn’t seem to have become a trend in the footballing world? I heard that Kyle Walker does it to improve circulation but I don’t see how it could make that much difference. They are just a pair of socks?

    Do any other players do it too?

    Yeah. I thought it looked ridiculous.
    Didn't Neymar do it during the World Cup?

    I think so - I know Kyle Walker seems to be the only player who seems to have stuck with it though. Maybe it's a superstition with him now?

    Maybe? We are a superstitious lot, and it's even worse among the pros haha.

    Surely they can't be that tight. And it's not like he is Roberto Carlos or Jack Grealish (never skips a leg day) I just find the whole thing really weird. Plus I feel sorry for the poor kit man who has to do all the cutting.
