Trying without scoring means nothing. I am sick of hearing they need more time. Score a damn goal already. 2 goalless draws is unacceptaple

Politano gets all credit for that goal.

Not bad considering this was a complete experimental squad for the most part, confidence is starting to rise for sure.

Verratti was just an accessory on that goal. Politano did all of the work.

They had a pretty good read on the game considering most of them never played together before. What did we learn? Lasagna is not our #9. Keen could make the step sooner than we thought. Ascerbi is a fighter. Great story behind him. Falc and Tottifan had eggs for breakfast and it's still on their face, lol :p
Mancini has done some good work so far.

I liked the way Mancini celebrated the goal More like a finalmente laugh. Not the craziness that Conte used to show.

Try as want Pauly but Verratti was crap. He missed the give and go with Politano. His decision making is late. He still looks to play the ball flat. He does nothing to be decisive in the game. Time to move on.

lol, everyone knows your gig by now Falc. Are you still telling your Juve compatriots that Dybala is not worth the money spent?

... *if you say so* ...

Verratti had a decent game, he was all over the pitch today. I dont know what it is about him though, but it always seems like hes running on ice or some slippery surface always trying to gain balance.

Portugal did not deserve a draw in that match.

didnt see the full match..but the bits that i saw Kean looked pretty decent. He's still young so we'll see what comes from him hopefully sooner rather than later.

Still think our best option at striker is Belotti and/or Cutrone until the next generation Keans/ Scamaccas, etc are ready to take over.

Belotti is still only 24 and I think a lot of his dip in form was due to his injury history...he will finish this year strong and lead the line IMO once the euro qualifiers pick up.

A guy like Immobile has to be close to done. Yes he's a beast for Lazio..but for whatever reason he can't do shit... maybe our shirt is too dark of a shade of blue for his liking.. but being that he is 28 years old.. finito

You have to hope that will be the case. I don't remember an Italian striker that made the national team that has such awful first touch and heavy feet, lumbering around the pitch.

@falvo, was it you who said they knew Pulisic's pop? Is he really the savior of the USMNT? I wasn't all that impressed today, though I'll admit, I haven't seen much.
