Haven't seen it. Still don't like Claire Foye's casting.

Who knew a beer called Amber Smashed Face would get you smashed? Can't be a worse way to spend Wednesday than watching the dragon tattoo sequel like I did last night. Piece of shit that was almost left after 90 minutes. Watching the extended version. IMG_20181114_182637321.jpg

I got in for free. Only time I can remember recently pulling out my phone to check the time. I remember it was 8:41 pm and the movie started at 7. I was tempted to leave but felt too time ivested at that point. The second the credits hit I high tailed it. Should have left.

TIF meeting for the North Branch of the Chicago River. Alderman announced he pushed a resolution in the city council today to help the Hideout gain landmark status and not be obliterated by “Lincoln Yards”.

Guess I'm on to Tokyo Drift. Was inspired to watch more Michelle Rodriguez movies after Widows but, forgot she wasn't in 2 fast or tokyo drift. Oh well can't break continuity

Just watched The Ballad of Buster Scruggs on Netflix. I’m not saying a Coen Brothers channel or app that showed their films and original content from them would be a successful business venture, but I would absolutely watch the shit out of it. My only complaint about this flick is that it went straight to Netflix as a movie- would’ve preferred it to either be a series of shorts available online, or a movie that I could enjoy in a theater. A small complaint though, it was damn great.

Just saw Instant Family. I cant believe I almost cried during a Mark Walhberg movie. So good and I didn't even make up my mind to go until I was in the parking lot and even then I almost left.

    Noomi Rapace was the best.
    Rooney Mara was very good.
Claire Foy was not bad in the role. She was probably the best thing about the film.

I honestly thought the best part of the film was when the protagonist prevailed entirely because of luck and not intervention on their part. Wasn't suspecting that. I couldn't really understand alot of what Claire Foy was saying tbh. Are you saying there were 3 movies in this series? I honestly don't remember

I'm sorry. Talking about streaming shows can't wait to come home and watch The Last Kingdom on Netflix tommorow. What kind of stupid network releases bingeable shows on a Monday. Even picked up a viking themed beer from solemn oath

The first season of The Last Kingdom was good, mindless entertainment and the second was pretty good as well. Looking forward Season 3. Thanks for the heads up on it.

I remember saying somewhere that Rapace had the cool and Mara had the scary, but I just couldn't see what Foye could bring to the table that those two didn't.

Ah, someone else uses Plex I see. One of my favoritist things in the whole wide world. If they ever get around to adding a comics and book reader I think I may divorce my wife and get married to Plex. Wait, what am I saying? My wife enjoys Plex too, so we might as well go with polyamory.

Little Rascals (for the kid). It was actually pretty funny with a good balance of more adult jokes. Also, the asshole antagonist's dad was played by none other than our fearless leader, Comrade Trump!
