i did not see ppl do the same against Hong MB or other past KNT managers with the same vitriol. also, if you want to compare... it should be based on NT performance. why constantly bring up club performance as comparison? especially.. in a league.. except for few, most seem to fail miserably no matter how great their credentials are. fair enough but Shin TY also took shots at Stielike on his 1st press conference as manager.. not to mention, Korean media covered his failures frequently.
Maybe because I want to talk about club performance. And why the comparison should be based on NT performance ? It's up to you not to be interested in what I said but I remain free to talk about what I want here, no ?
yup, you have every right. as for comparison.. in terms of their records in CSL, both are miserable. i don't see the point of comparing them tbh. i don't think there are much to speak of Bentos club record after he left Sporting Lisbon too.. unless you find his success (especially in domestic cup competition) a decade ago relevant atm. as for NT, as manager of KNT... too early to make any judgement imo as comparison. Bento certainly had more success as Portugal boss compared to Stielike as Ivory Coast manager but again, that was about 10 yrs ago. btw, your initial post simply pointed out how poorly he is doing at CSL atm. feeling sorry for the club fans but didn't Chinese fans/media say the same once Bento was sacked by CSL club... & was confused as to why Korea would hire Bento?
Exactly, I only pointed out Stielike's poor performances. But I don't know why, you started compared insidiously him to Bento, saying that, after all, Bento (like Stielike) failed in CSL too. Well, time will tell us if Bento is worse than Stielike and if Korea was right to hire him. To be honest, many of us have still doubts about Bento (or at least me) despite the first good impression he made. That said, without any comparison with Bento, I was talking about a coach (Stielike) who was in charge of KNT for several years. When he signed for Teda, I was curious to see how things were going to develop. And finally, I have to say, he's doing exactly the same mistakes he did with SK and his team slump like Korea did.
well, you have few comments about Stielike & mentioned KNT. also, you added this comment on your recent post.. "The supporters' faces say it all about how Stielike put this team into the shit (1:59, 3:57, 4:08). I really feel sorry for them." comes off as ... based on few posts whenever Stielike has poor results, as someone who is happy he is failing miserably (to a degree.. bit mocking). also, in other posts.. you mentioned Bento as to how "well" he has done in the early friendlies as comparison between the two. anyways, Stielike isn't the manager of Korea anymore. he is awful manager blah blah blah, whatever you want to call him but i just don't see the point of frequently posting about him whenever he does poorly. i mean, he isn't the 1st foreign manager.. or manager in general who were critical of KNT whenever Korean media asked to interview them.
Why do you care that we like to talk about it? We can post about any team we want in this thread for whatever reason, it's not the KNT thread.
Lol, I don't remember I said that, quote my posts to prove it. Even when Stielike was still in charge of KNT you were arguing against the ones who blamed him. I don't know why you make such great efforts to defend people (JSR, Stielike) who (rightly) deserves to receive criticisms. My initial post was just to inform how Stielike was going with his team and then you started to get mad out of nothing. Is Stielike sacred for you ?
Lol Liverpool lost to Red Star Belgrade 2-0. Also Monaco lost to Club Brugge 4-0 at home. Time for Henry to go home?
i must have gotten mixed up. this forum is full of "trash Stielike for the sake of it". been over 1+ yrs since Stielike was sacked, the guy is irrelevant & has absolutely nothing to do with Korean football now. i just don't understand the constant "grudge" against him... constantly mocking him whenever ppl have the chance. as for "defending" Stielike & JSR.. same reason as above. they receive more hate than they deserve imo, and to degree.. to stuff that even has nothing to do with them. those who replace them (Shin TY or other GKs in the last cycle) weren't any better ... but they continued to get attacked regardless. on Jung SR specifically, when GKs were more or less rotated from those who play in J League... i was bemused by ignoring Jung SR (i think he got called up about 2 times in 4 yrs the last cycle) when he was & still is the best Korean GK in J League.
Mate, we're not going to talk about it for years, no ? let's agree to disagree. And please, keep in mind I talked about his current results in the proper thread and I wasn't complaining about his days in Korea. Edit : Tianjin Teda is winning 3-1 against Dalian Aerbin, it means they will play a crucial match to remain in CSL against Guangzhou Evergrande. Stielike put an end to his streak of 11 games without a victory.
