Madrid were absolute crap yesterday and while none of those goals were TC's fault, nothing is better than seeing the goals fly in past him. He is a mechanical, calculating cretin who, when tag teamed with an overbearing father, is a nightmare an impossible to root for. Some people invite trouble and ill-will. He checks all the boxes and has plenty of hatred from two major fanbases right now.

And now Conte reportedly off to Madrid, who were off to a really good start in La Liga. Now in 9th after being embarrassed by their rivals and a thumb-sucking criminal.

    Buckle up!

This Madrid side really isn't made for possession and Conte is a master at counter-attacking football. It will be great to see what he does with that side. And he will definitely fix their terrible defense. Of course, if things go downhill, he will find himself out of a job faster than at Chelsea.

I dont think we are unbeaten with TC between the sticks. Been really impressed with kepa so far and honestly didn't know what we were paying for. Oh, and Madrid are always welcome to our managerial cast offs.

Watching the NFL game at Wembley. Getting those early mls feels....

Real buying Courtois was always a bit odd because he's a keeper who does best with a deeper system - he's good at claiming crosses because he's huge, but he's not the best playing in front of a high line because he's not the most mobile and occasionally has trouble sorting himself out to make saves.
Real don't play a deep defense, so it's not a natural fit. Kepa is a better fit for Sariri's system. He's been extremely solid for us if unspectacular so far.

Odd. I think he's a great shot stopper and lukewarm when it comes to commanding his box when playing with his own D or handling crosses/set pieces. Never paid too much attention to the system.

Bournemouth have been ripping United apart in this first half, though United starting to come back into it. Clear handball in the build up to United's equaliser.

I can't quite get over the fact the striker for Italy today is called Kevin Lasagna, which may just be the greatest sports name of all time. Amazing.

Arsenal with a huge win over the Spurs. Pool lucky to steal the late win over Everton.

    City
    Pool
    Chelsea
    Arsenal
    Spurs

City vs Pool will be an interesting battle for who wins the league. City the favorites.

Chelsea vs Arsenal vs Spurs will be an interesting battle for 3/4 and the last two champions league spots.

Got a long season to go. January window will be interesting.

I was thinking about the players he throws under the bus when you said cast away not the players he pushed out of the side. Either way it’s an extensive list.

Hey Chelsea fans, You'll never guess who was working out on the treadmill next to me at the gym yesterday.... Gus Poyet! I say you'd never guess it because some find it hard to believe I actually go to the gym!

Anyway, Gus seemed a pretty nice guy - had a pretty brutal workout routine too... still very much in shape. He's here in Qatar doing media work for Bein Sports, was on the Arabic channel the other night and then with Keys + Grey last night in English. Apparently they put these guys up at the hotel where we happen to have a gym membership, and a friend of mine said he say Wenger ad Guillet there the other day too... anyhoo, any messages for Poyet just in case I see him again there?

    Cheers and good luck tonight!
