Most would agree except for those who feel that Olsen is still an essential part of the organization. I mentioned a month ago I thought he was superfluous with Rooney aboard. Push what? push the logic that Ben matters and still plays a key role, why burst their bubbles?

It was nice of the Toronto FC players to share some of their newly legal weed with you. You should have asked them how they got it through customs.

Rooney is clearly the on-field manager, and the results are impressive. I still wish we had and out-and-out striker that Rooney could play under, but then we would have to sit one of our midfielders, and that would be hard to do.

It's probably worth it this time. Shammypants and Nickthegreek are doing a tag team of willful ignorance.

I know this is the wrong thread but I am looking for the dc United logo that is white and black, more of a rounded shield than the 96 logo. Very third Reich.
Someone on here had it as an avatar for a long time.

I think you should have put that question although premature at the time, to all those slackers who were not just mailing in their on field efforts, they arrived at RFK postage due. This team used to fold like a 2 dollar beach umbrella the minute they gave up a goal and were disgraceful examples of professional athletes.

Oh youre right, the turnaround in the team is definitely due to *checks notes* Olsen learning some new coaching tactics and canouses health.

I thought you said it was because they finally started trying to win. Make up your mind.

I've actually grown to appreciate Shammy's unique contribution to BS.
First there was shammypantaloons, then shammypants. Next will be shammyshorts. And I really wonder what shammythong will have left to contribute.

There's always Shamcommando if we're going all the way.

    Rooney>not Rooney

A true striker on top of him and we'd likely have to play 3 in the back. We'd give up goals, sure, but we'd score 6 goals a game. Might be fun.

Per Goff: Hamid didn't practice today, but Benny says he will be "fine." Fisher had knee surgery and is out until next summer. (Nicky returned just in time.)

Has anyone else checked out the times for the play in games on Wed., 10/31 and Th., 11/1? The MLS website lists the times TBD, but the MLS app on my wife's tablet lists the times as 1:00 and 3:00 EDT. Has anyone else heard this? That would be crazy. I've been hoping for 4th place (yeah, way ahead of things) to host a play in game, but what a traffic clusterf**k that would be. I'm really hoping that those times are wrong.

According to Wikipedia, last year they were at 8:30PM on Oct 25th and 7PM on Oct 26th. Hopefully they're just placeholder times for now.

There's this thing on the interwebs called The Google. You can ask it to find things like old logos. Just sayin'.
