Basically the XI changed around bar Hudson-Odoi and Smith-Rowe. No Nmecha or McEachran who are not even on bench so might have knocks.
I want to watch it even more now, as I'm a big fan of those two. So frustrating that's it not on TV or any website.
the bench is looking a bit short on attacking changes. Presumably McEachran is injured as he didn't feature in the opener either, but I wonder what the deal is with Nmecha + Gomes.
I'd be surprised. There's other U23 games on Friday. Not something they'd usually do. Especially with him off at half-time.
Cal put up an Insta story singing goodbye to Nmecha and Gomes this evening, so they didn't leave early, must've been injured.

Stephen Walker is another player that isn’t mentioned much but keeps plugging away. He’s probably not as talented as some of the others but worth keeping an eye on.
Jack Lankester (Jan '00) made his ITFC debut on Saturday, have heard from a couple that he was being looked at as has made a lot of progress in last few months. Wouldn't surprise me if he kicks on in next few weeks and plays a lot more
Thanks! We can only hope that as the games stack up, he will get at least a few minutes before January.
Garner and Greenwood a class above today! A goal each now. It’s amazing how many loose balls fall to Garner. His anticipation is unreal. Both have top level composure.
Hudson-Odoi at least makes the bench! https://twitter.com/ChelseaFC?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author
He wasn't great when he came on. Some nice touches, some not so nice touches. He has the athleticism for the men's game and his technique is solid, but these minutes showed that he probably lags behind Smith-Rowe in terms of decision-making, never mind Foden or Sancho. I can see why he hasn't had much game time. I'm not sure if it's more coaching he needs or a loan move away to get a better understanding of what's needed of him.
