didn't he just have a big 4 goal game recently? You rate an international friendly above league play?
He didnot score against Germany, against minnow Iceland he needed a dying seconds penalty to score, against the Netherlands he needed the ball gifted to him by a Dutch player to score, so he wasnot that great at all in 3 national team matches! 4 goals against a team that lost 50% of its current season matches before the PSG confrontation.
Has there been any rumors in the Dortmund circle that indicate what Pulisic is now thinking for his future? I know he didn't sign a new contract before the season started, but what's his thinking now...the current team is a lot better than last year's team. Will he stay or go? Thanks.
I take it you're being facetious as he subbed in in the 60th minute, forced an own goal, and scored a penalty.
The French fans wanted to see Ndombele with Mbappé at the same time on the field. Sadly, Tanguy was only incorporated six minutes after Kylian had been subbed out.
Yes, I don't know why I typed Belgium...I knew it was Wales. Maybe had an article on my monitor but yes, Wales.
I have not heard anything new. Then again, most of the talk in Germany is about how horrific the NT are at the moment.
I've been on these boards since last century and never used 'ignore' until now. Nice function! Dortmund plays AlemaniaAachen today in a test game. Kicker says Puli was back training, doing tapered runs on field #8. (Gotta love the German attention to detail). They also mentioned that "he has missed the last two Buli games but Sancho has filled in (one assist each game) and has done a great job filling in (better than good). Maybe Puli can celebrate his comeback against Stuttgart on Oct. 20. He has had 2 goals and one assist so far this season." http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...lisic-erhoeht-sein-pensum.html#omsearchresult
I saw that BVB play a friendly today. I'd love to see Puli get a run out in the friendly kicking off the soap opera of club versus country. I'd love to hear USSoccer whine about why he's playing for his club side if he's too injured for a call-up. We need some drama to drum up some interest in our international side.
HI folks, I've just deleted a bunch of off topic stuff and am initiating conversations with the OT starter(s). Also, just a heads up, we mods are a bit thin on the ground these days so please do continue to use the "report post" function if you think something needs a moderator response. That said, I appreciate the heads up about the issue in this thread. I was just a bit slow in getting to it because I worked all weekend, causing me to me loathe the sight of my computer and to run into the woods to drink pond water and eat grubs and bark until I was ready to face civilization again.
Watch it or I'll give my wife my login information. Her tolerance for bullshit is a stone cold zero (which has always made me wonder why she married me, of course) and my tales of shenanigans on BS have made her mutter darkly about what she would do, while running her thumb along the edge of her knife.
The ironic thing about this post (about Puli's injury and a press comment about Sancho creeping in on Puli's role) is that it was only repped by the guy whom I put on 'ignore' for the pointy-ball stuff. Love it!
