This is why I have 13 tickets to the game on the 28th. And no, I will not be renewing.

It's more than just the Fire sucking and the FO's incompetence and outright antagonism though. It's MLS moving the Crew to Austin for less than convincing reasons. It's missing out on the WC despite MLS supposedly strengthening our NT for the past generation and it's the Fire being irrelevant in Chicago and nationally with a rebrand on the horizon. Enough.

 

Wow. I go away for a while, check in to see what has changed, and it's more of the same.

Yeah, they'll be announcing a new Assistant to the Assistant Sales Director. That's how you build a winning club.

This is based on a whole bunch of things revolving around him and the club. He's selling. Whether it's going to be selling the other 51% to Mansueto, or selling it to Ricketts/Sterling Bay, he will be gone by 2020.

 

Please stop with the Ricketss thing, The Region Rat has the first crack at the other 51%.

Why the tone of surprise? I have the utmost respect for those who've hung on for this long, but Hauptman and his band of minions have been sh-tting in your offering plates for over a decade, and with obvious and escalating contempt for STHs and supporters groups in particular.
