    Hi,
I have a pair of silver predator pulses with my name and number on the tongue. I play regularly and wash them after every game. Whenever i seem to clean the tongue the sticthing doesn't seem to come up very well and certainly not the brightness colour i bought them.
Does any 1 have any ideas or advice.

    cheers

When i used to wear preds and had my name on the tongue. I actually used a nail brush to clean mine. You could really scrub at the stitching but it wouldnt scratch the tongue. It worked for me. And my stitching always came up nice and white.

So give that a go. The bristles seem to be tough enough to move the dirt. But like i said they dont damage the leather of the tongue.

I just used to use warm water and scrub at it. The best thing to do is to clean the tongue first if you scrub at it. Then you will see the water coming off the boots eventually running cleaner. The clean the rest of the boot and change the water for the 2nd boot.

You can give soap or fairy liquid a go if you want too. But personally. I'd give it a miss.

I have personalised silver pulse and I took the pair to an ash pitch to play... I just used my hands, and some warm water to clean the boot and the embroidered bit (name and adidas logo). The muck came off embroidered bit easily but not the leather =( So I guess just hands and warm water will do! Good luck!

I had predator mania's and used fairy liquid in every wash, it always made the stitching come up nice and white, and it never affected the leather. :) Maybe pulses are different, they must be if the affect is so different. :)

I have pulses now, and still use fairy liquid, it does the trick. Hope this helps anybody, but I think this thread is a little bit old isn't it? :)
