Problem......................same as with the FCD and OKC collaboration. Its not a reserve team. Hence why kids like Ferreira and Servania are actually at OKC's biggest rival!!!

Productive MLS player sent to worse league.

    Why?

    "To work on his defense."

All the foreign "stars" don't need to work on their defense, but even a young American who proves himself as good enough now has this extra excuse in his way.

First professional goal for Castro. He's provisionally tied to Honduras, although the US in the past year has called up a few players in similar situations including Nebiyou Perry, Justin McMaster, and Kendall Edwards.

Saldana, E. Lopez, and Alvarez start for LAG II, with Araujo on the bench.

Alvarez might end up being one of the most talented players MLS has ever produced. It might just be USL but at his age to be destroying teams like it’s child play is crazy. I would even call him up to the US u20s for a camp.

I doubt he would want to play for US. But regardless of who he plays for, he should be called up for the Galaxy first team already. He is too good for USL. Needs minutes in Galaxy if they one day want to make money off of him by selling him later on.

I think USA was his first choice until something happened in a camp that no one wants to leak.

Why is Araujo on the bench?

If you want the guy signing with you, why is he not starting every game? He's 17 years old and he can't even start in a bad reserve league? He could, but LA would prefer non-prospects to him, so thats why he will not be signing with them, why Llanez will not, and why Mendez will not.

Jesus christ settle down, he's been in the Galaxy system one month and was away at the YNT tournament. Regardless of the 1st team, Galaxy are amongst the best at playing their academy players on their USL team.

I’m a fan of his game. I’ve mentioned before that he should be called into the U-17 NT. I was wondering why he wasn’t playing with the U-19 academy team this weekend, but there you go.

USL is rebranding their leagues identically to England (potentially setting it up for pro/rel in the future).

    USL -> USL Championship
USL D3 -> USL League One
USL PDL -> USL League Two

The USL CEO also said he sees D3 having 20/25 teams within three years.

I haven’t been following as close as I should. Has Josh Atencio played since his last impressive performance?

He has not. I think I remember hearing the Sounders director saying he was injured. (?) Can't remember clearly but now he's with the U17s. @zlebmada can you help us on this one?

Atencio got a knock, and then made 1 (maybe 2) DA appearances because one of the teams (forget if it was U17s or U19s) was thin and they really needed him. Now he's heading off to the U17 tournament in Mexico City with the U.S. He and Robles, Serrano and Ocampo-Chavez were all called up for this U17 tournament and weren't in the 18 tonight. Scheduling is a bit complicated for Seattle and these boys right now. So many YNT call-ups, and then S2, and then DA matches every weekend.
