Unless the US starts producing world class players I doubt they'll become like the Premier League or La Liga.

And if they decide to open their wallets, they'd get to Ligue 1 quality before the European Super Clubs get scared sh*tless and form a European Superleague that would dwarf any other professional sports league in history in Television rights/sponsorship money.
