Sounds like a troll post but i'll respond to you anyway lol :D

    GK: Courtois, Navas
Defense: Ramos, Varane, Dani, Marcelo, Nacho, Odriozola
Midfield: Kroos, Casemiro, Modric, Isco, Ceballos, Llorente (if he stays)
    Attack: Bale, Benzema, Asensio

As you can see, we are a little bit short in attack and defense. Midfield is fine, but it could be reinforced if Llorente is loaned out.

We are 2, maybe 3 at most, signings away from having a great squad. We already have a great starting 11 but we need more depth.

We're regressing in terms of squad strength every year, the longer this drag, the harder it will be to get back up.

Our strength, the midfield, will need a change probably soon with Modric not getting any younger. Ramos is not young, Benzema isn't and Bale's style of play means he can't keep it up beyond 32. Don't forget Marcelo as well.

So that's the plan, replace everyone in 1-2 years? We should've strengthened the attack last year and integrated someone like Mbappe, Dembele, Sane etc.. Replaced Vallejo with someone like Lenglet (send Vallejo on loan until he can play 70% of games)..

This is bad planning, I have a feeling Perez is looking for "that" signing so someone can say he signed someone at 17-18 and went on to be the best player in the World.

We won last year thankfully due to Zizou and Cristiano. They're both gone, now we're arguably the 3rd best team in Spain heading into a new season... what an epic fail

Marchisio just got released by Juve. Could be a good backup for free.

He's injured way to often and i wouldn't be surprised if he retires.

He's still quality and could over good coverage for Kroos and Modric.

Timo Werner would be a horrible fit for a possession based team like RM.

Also, he only made 13 BuLi-goals last season as Leipzig's main goalscorer.

Until September 1st we will be hearing “Madrid are looking to sign a striker but will not waste their money” and nothing will happen.

IMO he seemed to be doing ok with Spain and did not do so well with Porto apparently, ( others may have more insight about that tenure than I do), so i’ll wait and see how the team responds and how he operates in the season before I make a judgement on his abilities, especially in a league format

so far the youngsters really seem to have bought into his way of playing which I have to say isn’t miles away from what ZZ did so far, the starters are just getting used to him and there is less energy from them from what I have seen, but we need to start the season fast and well so, let’s see how he does , how he motivates the team, and how well they perform when the games really mean something,

he is our coach though so I do hope he gets the time and the resources he needs and that he is wildly successful

@pramod has to be one of the most negative fans i've seen on this forum. It looks like our club genuinely brings you pain and sorrow, just switch clubs dude or become a fanboy whatever works for you.

Marca posted an article essentially saying the following:

    - We have 300M in cash, so why no signings?
    - The club is saving up the money for a potential Neymar bid in the summer of 2019.
    - However, with the investigation into PSG's books potentially wrapping up before the end of August and exposing some irregularities, that operation may be accelerated (i.e. this summer).
    - The club is only willing to spend ridiculous amounts of money on mercurial talent, and Neymar is that.
    - UEFA is supposedly also looking to investigate clubs where they are spending more than 80% of their revenue on wages; the likes of City and Barcelona. Real Madrid is in a very comfortable position there and are not part of this group of teams to be investigated.

Edit: Btw, the Maxi Gomez signing seems really too obvious. Proven in La Liga, young, and at a fixed price. So why have we not moved on him? My only theory is that JL doesn't actually want him because he doesn't fit what he wants in a 9. He wants someone similar to Benzema but who can score more. Which is dumb to be honest, because I want a different option on the bench, not someone who offers the same things as the one on the pitch but better?

    Edit 2: Odegaard back Heerenveen.

I just don't get this werner doesn't want to move as he sees himself joining bayern in 2 years time and he isn't really that good, icardi is inter talisman so won't be let go and it is rather dumb on us when he has his 110m euros clause we didn't move for him, rodrigo is rubbish just spanish and maybe that is why lopeteigui likes him.

Martial wants to leave united and i am surr that an offer between 60 and 80m euros should do the trick he younger and would bring pace, attacking threat that benzema has but can't be relied upon and can be sold for a good price if he doesn't work out.

Why can't flo and the board see this,we are ready to go and spend 45m euros on a relatively unknown kid from brazil but here we have a potentially world class player but we are not ready to take a chance on him.

I believe Rodrigo is JL's favorite right now. He even selected him for Spain ahead of Morata.

We absolutely need a more traditional CF, someone who's in the box. Frankly a more traditional striker could play with Benz if it came to that as he's occupying other areas of the pitch.

Yup, and Rodrigo is similar to Benzema. I think we need to be careful what we do here. Can't just give the coach any player he asks for because he has this vision of the squad. We need to think more long term.

    - Says RM is offering 50M for Thiago and 60M for Rodrigo. Both clubs want 70M for each player. The "operation" is close.
    - Says reports about Pjanic are false, the club is not interested and has not made an offer.
    - Says JL wants a CB but the club does not plan to reinforce that area.
    - Says that RM thought Valencia would refer them to the buyout clause for Rodrigo (120M) but Valencia is asking for 70M "only" (Lol). They want to use the money to close the Guedes deal.
