Not really. It was a complete Jesuitical fallacy presented solely for purposes of amusement.

Well we are going to have to agree to disagree. The ultimate failure on Toledo's part here is not using VAR if for no other reason to reduce/end speculation. The red card in the Seattle vs Dallas game is yet another example of a ref refusing to adapt to technology and it biting a team squarely in the bum.

Saw the game and it is what it is. we have a sketchy team. That's all. Once I saw Ibra dropping to get into the playmaking 3rd I started shaking my head. that's the ol ball game. He needs to be in the box at least 80% of his time. equalizer was offside to me more and more of a bad call than the PK although I didnt get a good angle on it and of course had Ibra not gone down that would have ended up in the net 90% as it has been stated before.

All the points jpar said sans the Cole opinion which I have to mull over. But his comment on Gio is spot on. Not only that but Gio cant play 2 or 3 plays ahead. he is simply a ball distributor and nothing more. Before the WC I could see why he was being paranoid about getting hurt for it but now? What the hell is excuse now? once in a while he does play well but for 5 mil? no way. there is no excuse for that. too we that situation has turned into a white elephant.

What the hell is the point of having Boa come in at the 90th minute, can anybody justify that or at least venture a theory of what is going on in Zigs melon when he does that? If I was Boa I would refuse to go in to the game in such a situation.

Yes, one could argue than any contact from behind in that situation could technically be called a foul. But that would be very harsh and inconsistent with how the game was called. Throughout the game, I was impressed that Minnesota did not dive, even though they were getting contact in the box and could have gone down on a couple occasions and had a penalty claim. I think this has to go into Toledo's thinking in not making the decision, as well as knowing Zlatan was trying to game him throughout the game, which even Cobi Jones rightly noted on the broadcast. I have to admit Toledo did well and didn't fall for Zlatan's antics. So, good non-call. As far as your last sentence, I hope you used better arguments when you were a lawyers. :ROFLMAO:

Agree about Boateng. He should be getting into the game much earlier. Much better chance we don't get burned for the tying goal if Boateng is out there.

Not only that, but once he came in they kept pressing down the right side even though Ema was open on several occasions.

At one point he was all by himself in acres of space and we turned the ball over. So frustrating.

This one seemed like a game for VAR, so don't understand why they didn't use it.

Lletget's goal was comedy from Minnesota. I kept waiting for someone to shut him down, and no one did. Funny.

Romain was pure class, and his emotion on the sideline bummed me out. I hope he's okay.

All in all, bummed about the lack of three points. I also thought it was a PK (even through my sleepless haze).

As to the last sentence, I hope you saw that it was a joke, as I later posted. Clearly fallacious, and not something I would use in court.
