Yeah, I don't either. I am mainly speaking hypothetically; if this is the time Manchester wants to sell.... then strike when the iron is hot.

If Mourinho is that crazy, sell them Kovacic. He wants to go anyways.

If you remember I have always stated if Kovacic demands to force out, ideally we should sell him and replace him with Sergej (this season) or Pogba (next summer).

 

I'm not a big fan of Sergej but the way things are right now i wouldn't mind to give them Kova + money for Pogba. I think Kovacic has already turned down an offer from them though.

 

Kovacic has already said he doesn’t like Man U’s style of football, he won’t go there.

They 100% aren’t selling Pogba considering they would have a whole 4 days to find a replacement.

I am one of Kova's biggest fans, but I'd absolutely be all for this.

 

I guess their club is finally realising the risk with an unhappy and unmotivated GK.

I wish these players would grow some balls. Pogba hasn’t been happy for years wasting his potential, Courtois is living in another country to his kids, Hazard pines to come here - we need some rebellion, Luka Modric style.

While I won’t pretend to know how Chelsea operates, couldn’t he have had this conversation like a week after the World Cup. We’ve known for a long time that there were multiple rumors about Courtois wanting to come back to Madrid because of his family and him not being interested in remaining in London. Why wait till 4 days from your deadline to want to talk to the player and make a definitive decision? It makes no sense and shows poor management on Chelsea’s part.

 

I think Modric is leaving. Too much smoke.

He’s been a class player for us and have no problem with him wanting a new challenge

I'm pretty disappointed at how badly he wants to leave. I mean I get it but as a fan its annoying. A major piece of the puzzle for the future slipping away from our hands.
