Yedlin getting some praise for his preseason work https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hull-1-1-newcastle-player-14948381 DeAndre Yedlin 6 Provided an option going forward. Naturally fit and has sailed through pre-season so far.
Dunno if this was posted anywhere but DY started and went 70 some in a friendly v. Porto this weekend. Had a clearance off the line. It was 0-0 when he came out. Reviews were generally positive, fwiw.
Playing Braga today: guessing DY starts, but have not seen any speculation one way or the other. #NUFC fans add Touch VPN extension to Google Chrome and set your location to Portugal - Sorted!#AshleyOut https://t.co/bMSuUG5UK2— Graham Ball (@DonBaldini) August 1, 2018 Info on live stream for tonight. @mycujoo free stream of the #nufc - Braga match will be geo-locked, so we'll not be embedding the stream. watching a bit of a crap feed and Yedlin seems to be wearing a smushed frosted cinnamon bun on his head for some reason.
Yedlin and NUFC were in very pre-season form today. I deserve a medal for watching that thing, even if I didn't really watch. NUFC twitter is comedically dour due to lack of transfers.
Looks like the Braga friendly ended 4-0. So 3 after DY left the field. As I noted, Braga could have scored more when DY was playing, but obviously the 3 or 4 changes hurt whatever tiny bit of cohesion NUFC had.

At least since Ashley arrived. The Toon were a perennial top 6 team before that clown took over. I hate that fat ********.
Ashley's unwillingness to spend money benefits DY and the USMNT. The only competition DY has faced last year at right back and will face this year is Manquillo.
As long as they stay in the Prem. If the cheapness leads to relegation, that's pretty bad for DY. Even a successful relegation fight may not be good for his morale.

Gets hockey assist for the first goal. Narrow and floating for Spurs 2nd, Dele makes unchecked backside run, Yedlin needed to be more aware there and gets beat in the header. You can say it was Ritchie’s man but then Yedlin was marking no one. Looks like he’s in a 3 man back line. I think.
Old man rant here..... Kenedy has gone to ground on every possession...definitely of the Brazilian persuasion. The dude is dangerous, tons of flair...but cmon man.
Ouch...getting worked over at the moment. Weird spacing allowing Dele to get in dangerous spots, announcer calls him on it. Silly foul, turnover in a tight spot, Hate that he doesn’t close his man on crosses. Sorry to be critical but have always had a tough time with him. I’m trying....I’m really trying.
