One question included in the survey was - The Metros are dedicated to bringing a SSS to its fans. Where would you prefer the new stadium to be located? in Harrison or at the Meadowlands? DUH?! Did they even have to include this question in the survey?! Also, not one question concerning 1) the on-field performance of the club; 2) the performance of Coach Bradley or 3) the performance of Nick Who the hell wrote the questions for the survey? The receptionist at the front desk?!
I didn't receive the survey. Is the survey for season ticket holders only? As silly as it may seem, my hunch is that the MFO wants the Metro fans to pick Harrison on the survey so they can then show Gov Codey that the Metro fans prefer Harrison over the Meadowlands........ or at least I'd like to think this is the point of the survey.
that's a great point, even if it implies MFO did a lot of thinking...So do please state Harrison as the preference, as obvious as the answer is......Heck, make copies of the survey if you can....
I am a season ticket holder - I received an e-mail requesting that I take 10 minutes to complete an on-line survey to help the Metros 'better serve their loyal fans". There were about 30 questions - they asked how many games I attended; who I went to games with (friends, family, business associates, etc); the ages of my kids who attended games; if I planned to renew my season tickets for 2005; how many games I watched on MSG; if I watched the Metros Soccer Report on MSG; my age, marital status, annual earnings. I must say that they did cover a lot of topics on the survey.
I dont get it. The survey asks you to rate how happy you are at the games, but doesnt give any means to say what does or what doesnt make you happy.
These types of surveys are bullcrap: 1) Rarely do you find out the actual results. 2) They're done only in the hopes of getting the answer they're looking for. 3) They never address the concerns that you note.
Well i completed it anyway. Stumbled a bit on the corporate sponsers question...bad fan bad fan!! It is a typlical marketing survey designed to get a purley quanitative range of data..i wouldn't read much into it. What they should have also done was include questions that required a qualitative response, that is where the real meat and potatos in a marketing survey is found..sad i know this after only a basic marketing class in business school and they do not..or worse do not care. Soy Del Metro
i receieve email from some one to give them a call and share my MetroStars home games expirience....whoz that?
Well qualitative research is more subjective and is done mostly through focus groups and such. Quantitative is more survey oriented and is supposed to be objective which I thought it was. That way it's more reliable. My Quantitative Research class paid off last term. Sorta. I only could think of a few sponsors as well: McDonald's, Johnnie Walker, and JNCO Jeans. I also put GMC although I don't know I wasn't sure if they are one.
I recieved th survey via email. Nail the sponsors, lads, that should impress the bejasus out of them. By describing the Metro experience as lousy -- ie,close to #1 -- I think the message gets across that we aren't happy with the organization, on and off the field.
And what about the NFL? They put their big ass logo in the middle of the field. Boy, they must love the Metro
They used to have the Meadowlands logo there. Don't know why they changed that. I think we're the only stadium to have the generic NFL logo in the middle.
