Bedoya levels things, even though he looked offside

Tommy Smyth is such a homer.........I miss the days of Martino, Twellman and Moreno

Twellman I could do without. I do think Moreno did a great job, and would take him & JP any day over Tommy.

Agree to disagree on Twellman. He was very good when he was with the Union. Plus he's a genuinely good guy too. Always took the time to talk to fans after home game broadcasts.

He was on Get Up last week and was actually very good. Plus he really annoyed Greeney which was hilarious IMO.

Striaght red via VAR to Martinez for a stomp on Trusty - Union up a man with 30 minutes left.

Houston with the MLS 10 man advantage.

Union get a fortunate call via VAR, Martinez given straight RED for stepping on Trusty's leg. Looked incidental.

Burke from Dockal gives the Union the lead

    Then is subbed off for................Herbers?

Dockal to Burke who nutmegs Willis - 2-1 Union. As soon as Burke scores, Herbers comes in for him.

Nearly a Wenger-Special as he pushes it out of bounds ahead of him.

Sapong for Accam was way too far out of Jim's comfort level. He needed the correction.

    FAFA!

Would've been nice if they let Herbers take the PK...he earned it, and he's taken a beating since he came in.

    Weird game. Ref helped.

Still think this squad of players is capable of more, and lack a consistent threat up top.

Nice win (some needed luck ;)!) with the perfect segue into the free Phish stream tonight.

We weren't great, we weren't bad.

In fact the whole match seemed like a whole lot of nothing going on for having 4 goals total.

In any event, road points are always good (especially when you have to make up for a home loss).

Locked into the 7th spot (and just 1 point back) heading into the All-Star game.

Good complete road game and a solid 3 points to make up for the home loss to LA.

VAR did a good job on the stomp. Absolutely a red everyday. Late, stud tonthe ankle and certainly endangered the opponent. Houston completely lost their compsure in the second half.

I thought VAR was going to pull the bedoya goal back. Might close call but the last replay they showed he was even.

Union did a great job killing the match off with possession. As it should be being up a man.

They got the breaks tonight, but did what they had to do. Dockal becoming the player we'd hoped. Accam is a bust. Could never imagine CJ doing what Burke did for his goal. McKenzie probably needs to sit a game or 2.
