If they are playing the EPL then it’s a good move

The fact that you're not sure is why it's not an ideal move. He'll always be worried about relegation

No abolsutamente suplente

    Izquerido went to Brighton.

Look if he does well in Fulham a bigger team will pick him up. Rather him be the star at Fulham then 3rd string at Chelsea.

What has going to big teams done for our players other then eating bench?

Only exception are James and Cuadrado. I’ll give Falcao a bye as he was injured while at England. (But his time there he was benche for a youth player who isn’t even in the EPL now)

Barrios is good but not a finish product yet. The fact he couldn’t bench Carlos Sanchez or that he isn’t a clear starter with Sanchez as his competion but you guys wanting him at Chelsea or Tottenham is funny to

I don't think Fullham is an ideal move, not the worst but its true there is a good chance they could get caught up in the relegation zone. They just signed Jean Serri from Nice who is a very good CM, that was being looked at by a lot of big clubs. That could be a really good partnership but I think Barrios is a better fit at a team that is going to have more possession, Spurs would be a good move for sure and I think he'd be the favorite to be the CDM. Even so its not the worst case scenario for a CDM to have to do a lot of defending and if he does well he'll be looked at by bigger clubs for sure, also heard Everton were looking at him. Either way its still pretty dumb imo that he wasn't the first choice for us, since he clearly should have been.

You do realize that the only team Japan beat in this WC was Colombia 2-1, who was down a man 90 minutes of the game, couldnt start James and still almost only left with a point. They had to come back vs Senegal each time and lost against one of the weakest teams in all of the WC (almost got themselves eliminated) based on a DT decision to sit out many of his starters.

Yes, the Rnd of 16 match was well played by Japan but again the DT actually lost the game for Japan on the sideline. Your team is 2-0 in the 70th minute and your strategy is to not be disciplined in your defense? You send almost your entire team to attack and attempt to score on a corner-kick vs a team that naturally defends corner-kicks well, oh and all this in the 94th minute....brilliant coaching!

The Japanese women are great. Japanese men's team...is old and slow now, just with great stamina. I don't know who they have listed as Japan's coach in this list as in reality their coach is named Akira (like my son).

I get what kromekote says above, but this was a very limited side on the wrong side of age and form - that even at their peak had been prone to huge mental lapses - I thought he did a great job coaching them in Russia... But would never in a million years be a good coach for Colombia.

Why doesn’t he get offered better jobs. Like fine getting a SA team the has a shot to qualify not likely. But they went just as far with Costa Rica with a much weaker roster then Colombia in 2014. Shocked not 1 remotely good team gives him a shot or a club team.

Fine his play style is shit but he gets results. A midtable team or a relegation zone team in Spain with little money won’t give him a shot?
