The teams i want to qualify for the next World Cup. EUROPE 1.France 2.Spain 3.Italy 4.Belgium 5.England 6.The Netherlands 7.Germany 8.Serbia 9.Croatia = I hope they have a good team to the next World Cup. 10.Portugal 11.Denmark = i think they are going to be better next World cup, looking good for them. 12.Sweden = My country 13.Russia/Poland/Austria CONMEBOL 1.Brazil 2.Argentina 3.Chile 4.Peru 5.Colombia/Venezuela = maybe Venezuela. ASIA 1.Qatar 2.Iran 3.Japan 4.South Korea 5.Australia 6.China = or if Asia have some upcoming good team with a good generation. AFRICA 1.Morocco 2.DR Congo 3.Senegal 4.Nigeria 5.Ghana/Ivory Coast CONCACAF 1.USA 2.Mexico 3.Costa Rica = Same here, if there are any good upcoming team instead.
From this world cup final we should be seeded in the next qualifiers and tournaments, which should open the draws as long as we qualify. We got talented youngsters but they will have to step up like modric rakitic and mandzukic did in their career. Our next generation should have a better backline with the likes of benkovic caleta-car kalaika and borna sosa along vrsaljko. Good midfielders with coric kovacic krovinovic brozovic rog balic moro Good wings and striker kramaric rebic brekalo pjaca vlasic halilovic We should have another deep run in euro or world cup by 2026 if we keep qualifying and hold the seed status.
I don't know, though...look at who you beat: - Nigeria - Argentina - Iceland - England Taking into account that games finishing in penalties are counted as draws, the opponents in bold are the only "big fish" (as per the FIFA rankings) that Croatia defeated en route to the Final. Let's be clear: I'm not trying to downtalk Croatia's incredible run, but I don't know how much credit the rankings will give them wrt the quality of the opposition they faced.
Even after a group stage exit in 2014 and a round 16 in 2016 we were already in pot 2. We should get to pot 1 for 2022 as long as we qualify for the tournament and reach the ko stages in euro 2020 i think.
Doesn't matter who qualifies ! it 'll be the last of 32 nations with a decent format before the 2026 circus begins
Random order. This is what I want. Of course I know Brazil, Spain, Italy and Argentina aren't all not going to make it, doesn't stop me from dreaming though. My Asia picks are all about controversial stories as besides Japan don't really think an Asian country really has a chance to make a statement. Just think it would be interesting to see all these controversial countries make it. Europe 1)France 2)England 3)Portugal 4)Ireland 5)Belgium 6)Netherlands 7)Scotland 8)Wales 9)Germany 10)Croatia 11)Poland 12)Luxembourg 13)Russia South America 1)Uruguay 2)Chile 3)Paraguay 4)Columbia 5)Peru Asia 1)Qatar 2)Japan 3)North Korea 4)Syria 5)Iraq Africa 1)Ghana 2)Egypt 3)Senegal 4)Liberia 5)Ethiopia CONCACAF 1)USA 2)Mexico 3)Haiti
Not sure we will have only 13 teams after the uefa's performances in this world cup. We might have 14.
It's who we want not who's getting in. Not a fan of Brazil and Italy. Luxembourg has an interesting history it would be nice to see them make it.
Where are you getting this nonsense from? Europe is only going to get 13 and that's even with performances considered. They don't have a playoff slot. They already get too many slots as is.
If anything actually get less spots than they should based on rankings. According to elo rankings before the tourney they deserved 17, after the tourney 19 of the best 32 teams are from UEFA.
It is true that UEFA will presumably stay at 13 spots (I believe FIFA already decided a couple of years ago the allocations for both 2018 and 2022). That being said, I don't know on what planet you can justify the statement that they get too many spots. Who else deserves more spots at UEFA's expense? Africa? After a World Cup in which none of its five teams advanced out of the group stage and two finished bottom of the group, including one with zero points? LOL. I don't mean be deriding, but the traditional weaker confederations really need to start getting better results more consistently to truly justify any more spots.
It's true - I mean, the confederation with the most last placed teams surely deserves lots more spots. J
I don't care much right now if uefa gets 10 or 12 or 14 nations so no need to be bitter like you are ^^ My only concern at the moment is to see Croatia getting a deserved seed status after reaching a world cup final with a 4 million people country ^^ Talent
I'm not arguing for more UEFA teams (at least in a 32-team tournament). I'm just saying I think UEFA deserves the spots it currently has. Other than South America, none of the other confederations has a strong argument for any more spots. Alas, this observation of reality is largely irrelevant, as FIFA chose to expand the tournament despite no obvious evidence of improvement in quality.
