Looks like France is happy to let Croatia control the ball...France can counter so fast and so lethally

this hasn't been a great tournament IMO. But to me France has been clearly the best team. They've beaten much better teams, had a harder route. They deserve to win.

Is it the seven nation army (white stripe) riff they play before every match?

When I tell people that I play exactly the way Mbappe does I will show them that clip of him running faster than the ball and falling down.

Definitely. Having some decent teams go out early on one half made one bracket a mess.

Talk about over rated...or at least over priced...Giroud coming off.

If so why is Croatia clearly superior in the field?

Croatia clearly plays with much more passion in it. Hard to see a team like this France winning.

To me the best team I've seen playing in this WC, was Brazil.

If Croatia don't foul them deep, like they did in the first half.

Mbappe arguably can become the best French footballer ever as well in the near future. Better than anything what Zidane(not the best Frenchie footballer ofc) did in 98 WC.

Are they? France has real skill but don’t just rely on hustle. Croatia has a lot of grace but France has its moments especially on the counter.

Rakitic. That was hilarious. THAT is how one should roll around: with obvious comic intent.

That makes sense. The Russian authorities may have clamped down on their hooligans but feminist activists are a different proposition.
