I don't think the new coach wants him. I think they'll play ball and let him come back for a fee or something.

    Maybe we loan them Kova?

I don't get the fuzz about him either. Is he the third most talented player in the world ? Yes. But is he the third best player ?
His attitude is where the problem lies. This guy doesn't have the willpower to become one of the best. If he would truly do his best all the time he would have surpassed CR7 a while ago.
This guy will never win BDOR due to his mentality. To me , he is a Balotelli.

James' father just said Lopetegui called him 15 days ago to talk to James.

What's James' relationship with his father? This isn't one of those estranged fathers talking out of turn, is it? Lol.

Edit: @Zidane05 i think Mezzy is referring to Kovac not wanting James, not JL.

I think it's his stepfather. He's the one who is heavily involved in his life

I think Lopetegui could start both Isco and James like Colombia started Quintero and James. Having them be interchangeable and keep the defense guessing. I think it would be a thing of beauty

Hmmm I don't know. I think both Isco and James aren't suited for the flanks.
    Maybe :

    Courtois

    Carvajal Varane Ramos Marcelo

    Casemiro Modric

    Vazquez James Bale

    Striker ?

I want real wingers , for pace , crosses , tracking back and counters . If we would have a presence in the 16 , with those crosses from those three behind them , we are deadly .
I think the problem is that we have too many midfielders for the 4 2 3 1 system. I would like 4 4 2 . But since we have 0 backup strikers we would at least need 2 extra strikers for that setup.

If MBappe wins the WC, he becomes a bigger star than Neymar, and that's why Neymar will be sold by PSG. Also, Florentino denied that he wanted to buy Beckham a few days before signing him. (Fred Hermel, Afterfoot, RMC)

So it would take Mbappe all of 11 months to justify the wages people said were asinine and would break our wage structure.

What a colossal failure last summer truly was..

    Same defense

    Modric - Casemiro - Isco/Kroos - James

    Asensio/Lucas. - Cavani

Not great but I cant think of any other striker who is available..

There were a few like Aubumayang who we should have signed. The likes of Icardi, Felkir and Werner should be available at a reasonable price.

I think at the end he will be Lewa. I know bayern bla bla... but he's the only one that can score a lot and we need a striker like him. He's 29. He can play 3 good years and help to win league like he did in germany

He will be 30 before he kicks a meaningful ball and he's already looking like he's beginning his downslope.

    No fcuking thanks.

In 2003 Perez said Never Never Never about Beckham. Two months later he was presented in Bernabeu. (Marcelo bechler)

Marca remembers it too, and uses it as their headline. They then quote Madrid PR saying we will contact PSG first if we want Neymar.

Mbappe is the better buy; he's younger, has higher potential and is less petulant.

Strangely enough, I think the one formation that suits our personnel as is right now is the ancient Christmas tree, albeit with one slight change to compensate for Kroos' lack of defensive ability. You can have the all round all action of Gatusso with the added intelligence, passing and creativity in Modric; game control, tempo management and great passing range of Pirlo in Kroos; and the tactical intelligence and overwhelming defensive presence of Ambrosini in Casemiro. Isco, James, Assensio, and Bale can take the Kaka and Seedorf roles. Benzema even in his decline is still excellent in facilitating play as a lone striker. We would just need Isco, James, Bale, and Assensio to step up goal scoring big time.
Our fullbacks are all supper attacking already and they will provide that width but with Casemiro more responsible for Marcelo's side we provide stability on that side. Kroos been a little deeper and more central will rely more on positioning than chasing in his defensive duties which i think he is more than capable of. He being the furthest back will also allow him to be the natural start of play when we play from the back eliminating Casemiro's scary mistakes close to our goal.
To change things up, Bale, Assensio, and Lucas can be deployed wide.
    Just a thought...

Why the hell did we loan James if we didn't consider the option of him coming back?

The whole deal is a clusterf*ck from our end. One year loan alright, but 2 was excessive. Although nobody expected Zidane to leave after this season.

We can bring James back, but it will cost us money.

I feel Flo knows PSG won't sell this summer and trying to reach an agreement with Neymar for 2019. Hoping things would change by then especially if Mbappe emerges as the No.1 there which will make Neymar unhappy.

And shitty permanent option on top of it. That gives Bayern even more leverage than a two year loan deal.

I think James earns 6-7 ME. Maybe offer him 10 ME per year which is more in line with his current market value and maybe he will let Bayern to let him go for a fair fee.
