Completely agree. I’m sure there will be always be some willing to pay £3/4K but I’ve been to a World Cup and euros final and numerous semi finals and never paid above FV. Some non U.K. resale websites are selling tickets as low as $900 even now. I’m still pretty confident that the portal will show up tickets in the coming days. I could have easily carted both semi finals this morning.

 

On viagogo ppl are selling final in pavilion for 4k USD net seller !!!

 

For the Euro96 semi final, I was offered £5k whilst walking up Wembley way (for my £50 ticket). I was in my early 20s and that would have been pretty cool. But - no chance I would sell it as I like football! And England!

 

Good for you, you are the exception. Be ready to shell out 3K for someone that did their work (and took the risk) believing on their team.

England will not make it to the final, and even if they do, dream on getting FV tickets. Its not going to happen unless you pay well above FV. Very few people are willing to let go being part of history for any amount near FV.

 

I have been to every Euro and every World cup final since before SA. Talk is cheap. Why would anyone be stupid enough to pay 1000s of £s for a game of football unless they are rich or stupid or both and English.
Look at the France Belgium SF and use that as your point of reference not some imaginary offers or rumours of xxx ebing paid. As for the Viagogos what they offer and what they get are 2 vastly different things.

maybe the demand for this game is different because of where its being played? Everyone will be in Moscow for the final. IDK if they will be willing to pay cat1 prices but im sure neutrals will want to go.

Even though the WC final is a spectacle, there won't be much interest than had 2 teams with larger fan bases in Russia made it. None of the remaining 4 teams have a lot of fans here and locals do not care. Semi tickets for the biggest sporting event on the planet are going for under FV. It's not a stretch to predict that the same might happen for the final. I know of 4 people that got final tix for face value last week in Moscow. It's rare but it's possible and I think will be even more so once the finalists are determined and FIFA loads more onto the portal. Finally, a lot of people who want to attend the final are price sensitive. They're willing to buy a cat 2 or 3 but can't buy a cat 1. That's why I think cat 1 will be in play for FV.

 

Who knows for sure what the availability will be like if England make the final...one thing that seems misunderstood among supporters that I`ve spoken to back here in London is that you need a visa/FanID to get into Russia, which most people won`t even look into until after the SF. So unless you`ve got one already, you can`t just show up in Moscow to buy a ticket outside the ground.

 

Yeah, if you were lucky to be on the site a minute or two before the drop.
Otherwise, the wait is an hour+, and whoever got to the site earlier than 1-2 minutes will get kicked to the back of the line while trying to pay.

 

I got 2x CAT 2 M61 this morning, was second in line. Pretty quick process

 

Well also remmember they have to take into account the highest ammount of Conditional Supporter tickets unti the end. So if a team with low requests makes it, those tickets may be dumped out days before. But you also never know cause FIFA always has "Affiliates" ready to fly out for these games. This is probably the game with the lowest percentage of tickets sold to the public.

This kicking out of the website is pretty frustrating. Over one hour waiting and they gave me only 15 mins. It’s kind of fairer I think than at the start of this whole thing when you could just stay in forever on multiple browsers why others waited but still annoying!

 

Ah really? I was only seeing CAT 1s on here, was really hoping for CAT 3 but settled on CAT 2. Please don't tell me they are lower level?

 

Attended Euro 2016 final in Paris and it was quite a „shocking” experience for me to see how the ticket market was like then.
Just to remind - home team was in the final... but French people just did not care to pay few hundreds euro per ticket to watch a single football game.
So the result was there were hundreds, if not thousands, of tickets floating around few hours before the game (mostly Germans were absolutely desperate to get rid of them) around face value and much less for cat 1.
I went early to the stadium to buy tickets for myself & buddy and managed to get 2 tix (don’t remember if it was cat 3 or 4) for... 85 euro each, face value. Turned out to be great seats.
I purchased them approx 2 hours before kick off and went straight in, can only assume that closer to kick off the prices might have dropped significantly.

For the final in Moscow I think it might be quite similar... With 80k as the capacity of Luzniki, 2 Euro teams again in the final, not even mentioning fan id / visa issue and crazy prices for those who would like to fly there last minute.

I booked my flights and hotel long time ago, so will be looking for a single cat 3, face value
If not lucky, Fan Fest should be a great experience as well.
