Wade is probably still a significant upgrade over Hood, Smith, and Clarkson.

These players who you are dismissing as "rotation playets" are better than the team Lebron took to his 1st finals. That's not even a debate.

JR Smith and Tristan Thompson should not have been paid that much. They are part of the reason Lebron has no help.

I think we can all agree that LeBron is a crappy GM. But he's an amazing player. I can't speak to Jordan, he was before myi time, but James is the best I've seen and he's the best I anticipate seeing in my lifetime.

The Cavs roster was still better after the deadline than it was before. Hill was good enough to contribute and stabilize the PG spot, Nance enhanced the big man depth for the Cavs. Clarkson and Hood were duds, but I'm not sure it wasn't worthwhile to get rid of Thomas and Crowder, both of whom were creating more problems than solutions for the Cavaliers. Wade and Rose were washed and weren't good enough to be second bananas that can reasonably take the ball out of James' hands and run the offence on-ball, but also weren't good enough shooters to be off-ball nor could they really defend. Terrible fits for the Cavs. The Cavs made the right choices at the deadline, it just wasn't enough.

Dude. Their line-up throughout the play-offs were..

Hill, Korver/Smith, LBJ, Love, and Trist....

Besides Hill, that trade deadline was a BUST. Nance had some good games, but lesbi real, contributed pretty much squat besides a nice dunk and some high energy plays.

I agree with @benni... tough to feel bad for LeGM when he pretty much built this team by getting rid of a team that was properly more suited and booted to respond in the play-offs.

How is Wade done when LBJ openly said he missed him and Wade pretty much shouldered the Heat in their series vs. Philly? You mean to tell me THAT Wade wasn't an upgrade to Hood, Smith, or Clarkson at the 2? or even Hill at the 1?

LOL, I remember getting excited when the Warriors traded for Larry Hughes. Those were awful times for basketball in the Bay Area. How things have changed!

I’m happy af that Bron signed for Lakers. But we ain’t winning the Championship with a very young roster like this.

Lakers about to potentially send the entire farm to arguably the best coach in basketball for Leonard.. Yikes.

I hope that Lonzo's been working on his shot, because he's gonna need that or he's useless to Bron.

LaVar will be still be like “Lonzo is the best Laker player currently”. Bron will send Lonzo’s ass to Lithuania if he ain’t gonna support him.

I honestly don't think James thinks about LaVar that much. At worst, LaVar is a mosquito to James; annoying but not much more.

Great move. For the NBA in general. I think they'll get Kawhi as well. Might be in the conversation for Cousins as well. If not - they'll surely get an All-NBA performer in 2019.

Bringing back the Lakers vs Celtics.

Also next year is probably the first one in the last 9, which likely won't feature Lebron in the Finals.

    Also the West is packed.

Wondering if this conversation between Lebron and Magic started when the Cavs made that trade with the Lakers during the season?

LeBron called Magic right after the JR Smith blunder. The Cavs really did help out the Lakers in many ways.

Rondo is a Laker.. Play off Rondo is very much still elite as we saw with Pels.

Rajon must legit hate that Boston organization now that he's a Laker.

CP3 signs long term with Houston. 4 year deal iirc

DeAndre Jordan to Mavs.. This time it's fr lmao.

Lakers fans went from tears of joy to tears of sadness.

Boogie to Dubs.. That's insane. 5 legit all stars on one team. RIP the league.
