Going to be a realist on this one.. Mexico has a chance of passing IF all our players bring their absolute “A” game to this match, similar to the one against Germany, but perhaps even a step higher than that (no 3 pt field goal kicks over the crossbar, no shitty wasted shots and misplaced passes). We wasted a lot of opportunites against Germany that we can’t waste against Brazil. Can that happen? I just see it being difficult as it doesn’t seem we’ve really gotten better at these things the past three games. So that leaves another factor, hechandole puros pinches huevos al maximo and hope for the best, brazil being absolutely terrible (which they havn’t been), or plain luck so.. Hay que rezar
If Marquez starts so what? Dude hasn’t played ever in all the games we’ve been absolutely destroyed. Except for the Germany game last year and that was halftime when the game was already 3-0. everyone expects us to lose. Shit, most of y’all expect us to. History expects us to. Wouldn't be surprised if it's something similar to what he did against the Germans. It isn't as if they will let us have the ball all that much so it would be smart to defend and then counterattack rapidly.
