    But i watched . So ?

Werner n Gomez didn’t score, does it make them defenders?

If u look. At stats and didn’t watch Yussuf Poulsen and Welbeck play

I m sure u would think they are defenders

Boateng was a boss during EC 2016 when Löw didn’t play his kamikaze tactics

Too unfortunate about the injury prior to the WC, he doesn’t look as fast as he’s looked before although he has everything else

Süle had this monster game vs Real Madrid, I’d give him a chance to prove himself and give him 90 minutes
And I watch Bayern and he’s fast although rather slow the first metres
And Yes he looks clumsy but he’s excellent

I can easily see this as the lineup, maybe without Mueller. Loew is not going to bench Khedira and Ozil permanently after one game. These guys are WC winners and he is going to give them a chance to redeem themselves. Someone who has stubbornly stuck with Draxler and Goetze will surely not write off Khedira and Ozil after 1 bad game. Depending on how the game goes, he will give them 60 minutes to make up for the Mexico game...

his reaction to a reporter asking him about that blunder was that he doesn't think about what ifs, lol.

Higuain is a major flop, had chances to score winning goals in WC14, Copa 15, 16 and failed each time. If Argentina haven't won anything in 20+ years it's on him.

I think we may see Özil again when we play 3 midfielders. Either that or he will replace Draxler on the wing

    ——————Neuer——————
    Kimmich—-Süle—-Hummels—-Hector
    ———-Kroos—-Gundogan——-
    Reus———Müller—————Özil
    —————-Werner——————-

Thats my prediction for the Korea lineup.

I must say I am sceptical of all these eyeball judgements on players speeds and workrates since I looked at the WC 2014 data and discovered Ozil not only had the most sprints in the team by some distance but also the highest peak speeds. Did any pundits note this?

Especially sprint volume is key - how many high intensity sprints can you make before you curve off?

The big guys typically have a lot of explosive power at least in straight lines

There have been some rumours about Götz George taking over Khedira's position from now on. Any truth to those?

I hope this rumours about Ozil and Khedira playing are not true. One game and now again Low is forcing his favourites in the starting lineup. He is risking too much because if somehow we fail to qualify with Ozil and Khedira starting the blame will be on Low.

    Kimmich--Sule--Hummels---Hector
    -------Goretzka/Gundongan--Kroos
    Brandt----------Muller-------------Reus
    -------------------Werner

this is good vs S. Korea if we make it and play a team like brazil then we need to strengthen our midfield with Brandt for Rudy or something

Reus———Müller—————Özil.... Dont think LOW would play all these three players out of their positions that he has allocated them for,,,,

That would be as if you played....

replacing Drax is the best idea IMO

He plays that position a lot for Arsenal.

Starting Gomez and playing a 4-4-2 maybe a good idea. It frees up Werner too.

    It was a joke.

I like LG but honestly life is a bit too short for me to watch Schalke games.

I really prefer Kroos very deep - like in the 2nd half vs Sweden

    He began to dominate

If Draxler doesn’t get benched today I have no words
but I’m pretty confident that Jogi will bench him

    --------------------------------Neuer--------------------------
    Kimmich-------------Sule----------Hummels--------Hector
    -----------------------Kroos--------------Goretzka------------
    Muller--------------------------Reus--------------------Brandt
    ----------------------------------Werner

Interesting to read that SULE, Goretzka and Gintner are the only field players who haven't played yet.
