Well, I mean if you think Wenger (a world class manager with more accolades than one can count) was really dead set on 'ruining' PCY's chances at Arsenal ... that's a very bizarre belief to hold on to. Much more verisimilar to state that mediocre players get benched and accrue no playing time.
no....oh no!! Fund them...it's like rewarding them for their mismanagement and corruptions. Call me Old-School but, I still believe in just punishment for the guilty....I still believe in accountability.
Jorge Luis Pinto is currently unemployed right now. KFA should appoint him. We can even keep the current Spanish translator we have now.
Unrealistic/Realistic options: Guus Hiddink Zinedine Zidane Luis Enrique Cesare Prandelli Laurent Blanc Andre Villas-Boas Luiz Felipe Scolari Louis Van Gaal Marcelo Loco Bielsa Senol Gunes Vahid Halilhodzic Claudio Ranieri Slaven Bilic Paul Le Guen Matias Almeyda Jorge Luis Pinto Željko Buvač Rui Farias Toni Grande Tamer Tuna Markus Weinzierl Managers stepping down /Might end up stepping down after the WC: Bert Van Marwijk Carlos Queiroz Jorge Sampaoli Joachim Low Domestic: Choi Yong-soo Yoon Jung-hwan
No to BVM because I think that boat already sailed. CQ is a no for me because I don't think we should play like Iran in the future. I think Low is overrated. Sampaoli is idk. From what I've seen from the WC, he another STY. Yoon Junghwan is an interesting prospect. As an Ulsan fan I was pretty disappointed with his tenure but I feel like Ulsan has been in a downward course anyway and he couldn't steer it to the right direction. But I think he's better than Kim Dohoon. Ulsan right now is just unwatchable. Since winning the 2012 Champions League it has been disappointment after disappointment. I thought we'll finally start winning again instead of being the Tottenham of Korea. Now I'm happy if we make it to the top 4... But yeah I feel like YJH isn't the right guy atm. He won't steer us to the right direction.
Why does this team have a pattern of one coach during the WC and then a different one for the upcoming Asian Cup? If the KNT can lose by 0-1 or do better in the next game, I think it may be worth keeping STY until the end of the next AC.
Other leagues across the world are equally as bad as the k league, yet their national team is much better than our. K league biggest issue is not being a good place to develop talent, and not enough connections with European football.
I'm sure there are better coaches out there but, so far, I think there hasn't been much difference between foreign and domestic coaches for the team. ( I'm not counting '02. It was a different era with different players on homeland. While I'm happy for the progress made in '02, I'm so sick of hearing ppl making references to Italy and Spain whenever the '02 topic comes up. )
Don't know who Cesare Prandell is. I prefer De Biasi over him but just any coaches is better than STY.
Yeah it was just a joke. I think Prandelli might be a good pick for the KNT, but i'm worried about his recent fails, maybe he's going downhill.
? what? it's a serious question. He has had a long career coaching in Italy, so maybe he has a lot of knowledge about building a defense and tactical know-how. EDIT: And he was recently manager of Italy. Although the qualification campaign was ultimately unsuccessful, Italy was in a tough UEFA group. I'm really interested in how someone with his credentials will direct KNT.
@killaorca framed my question in a wrong way. You suck Orca. @Marco91 . Serious question. Yes maybe you don't like me bringing him up, but it was a tough group in hindsight. I wanna know about KNT. Ventura's long career in Italy can potentially be the change KNT needs for the next cycle.
I don't want to see him eveeeer again. Also the thought of Kwon being coached by this failure makes me feel vomit. I would rather keep on going with STY, seriously.
