Que pendejo! Had the chance to play alongside the likes of Modric, Rakitic, Mandzukic, etc. But look at him now. No WC and playing alongside a bunch of washed up old timers or no name scabs
I could see Argentina, Croatiabans Iceland all with 5 points but one of them not getting out due to goal difference.
This...when he was at Chivas AC Milan wanted to buy him but stupid Vegara was being a dip sheet I’m more than certain if he would of made the move to Italy he would be on this roster for today.
Watching this Brzil game...I don't know. If, let's say, we win 1st from our group and Brazil gets second place of their group... Mano negra. Pieces of S. But I may be getting ahead of myself. I see Brazil just not trying at all. Something funny smelling, is all.
Well I know in the WC the teams aren't that far apart in terms of score lines, a bunch of 1-0's 2-1's, but so far no team has clearly been above the others. Yes Mexico won and its huge for us, but switzerland is playing toe-to-toe against Brazil too. Spain was something else back in 2008-2012, that side would outplay teams and it would be obvious to the eye.
2010 Spain didn't "outplay" anyone beyond Honduras. Chile got ref'd against them, Paraguay should have beaten them, and they could barely scrape by Germany, Portugal, and Netherlands. Massive kudos to them for doing it when it counted the most, but it wasn't impressive either.
Not lose, but not try as much. I prefaced my sentiment that I may be getting ahead of myself, so, I am aware of the far-fetching nature of my comment. Just something to keep an eye on.
The players started smiling when they heard how loud and fans were and it was a genuinely heartwarming moment.
when I watched replay last night I rewinded it a couple times as I saw that from Chicharito, you could tell his smile like saying, damn this is great
