Univision did not mention it at the time. They pulled him from Copa America coverage. He didn't come back until a month later. The only time I saw Univision mention it was at the end of the year when Fernandez was grilling De Nigris. De Nigris replied, "estaba haciendo frio cuando te tomaste esa foto." I was looking at the Telemundo announcer schedule They have these 2 unknowns doing the Mexico v Korea game. How the f'k do you put two unknowns commentate a Mexico game. SMH still better than Super Duper and the Antichrist (Ramirez) but still...
