I’m guessing my tst7 is the same as I’ve not received it either and time is just about up I would think. Can I ask what your page looks like telling you it’s local pick up now ?

I got first phase tickets. Picture looks legit, not sure why he still did not get the tickets.

Guys just a few Q's, firstly how often are counterfeit tickets at world cups? Currently in process of buying some tickets off people and just want to make sure there not counterfeit and be left with egg on my face at the stadium...

Secondly curious about cat 4 russian resident tickets my friend knows someone selling cat 4 for one of the semi finals and im wondering as tourists if any issues would be posed into getting into the stadium with these tickets? I'm sure I read somewhere in this thread in brazil there was 0 issue but a lot of people had apprehensions in Russia. So just wanting some clarity before I buy

First Q: counterfeiting should not be a problem, however, someone (primary holder) could have their fanID revoked for whatever reason, which would automatically revoke their tickets, but he/she would still have them (physically). IMHO, these would be very rare cases.
Re cat 4-who knows? It depends on locals. Certainly, some risk, although not possible to quantify that risk. Anyway, stubhub sell those, so it might be OK (in general), but don't quote me on this.

I respectfully disagree in this point. The link between FAN ID and tickets is proved to be really weak.
1)There are FAN ID issued for people not listed in any FIFA application.
    2) There are tons of FIFA applications without any FAN ID issued (Our second account, or even a new request from a different phase under the same account).

So I don't consider that a risk to the Original poster.

I dont know how easy is to counterfeit a ticket. All I can tell you, be sure to at least see the ticket against the sunlight to see if the chip is there or not. Even that wouldnt tell you if the tix is good or not.

Also, i think cat 2 and 3 and 4 are safe to consider legitimate. I mean, if one is gonna make fake tickets, it would definitely be a Cat 1 , cause the risk and cost to make a fake ticket is the same, regardless of the cat.

Perhaps, at least in a vast majority of cases, although during the last WC, 586 tickets were invalidated.
    https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g1-i13435-k11440975-o10-Tickets_from_StubHub-World_Cup.html

If the same in Russia, it would be 586/2580000=about 0.02% or one in 5000.
    A small chance, indeed.

That's all I found, but you are welcome to investigate.
Frankly, why do you even care? 100% or 99.98% makes little difference.

Personally, if someone would sell me a physical ticket to three games I am interested in, with delivery on location, I would buy.

Is this what you guys are seeing (highlighted in green)? I don't think I've seen that before...

I purchased a TST-4 back in phase 1 and have not received delivery and have had no update whatsoever via email, text, etc. This is ridiculous!

Try various Facebook groups to sell your tickets. I've had luck doing so. Avoid StubHub which has been a disaster for me (they ended up selling tickets I de-listed and have the worst customer service I've ever experienced).

Joining the club of those who’s tickets are now pick up rather than delivery. TST4 bought in the very first sales phase. They’ve had my money for 6 months. No email or text to notify me, I just happened to check. IMG_4920.jpg

    Hi Everyone,

I mentioned this a few posts ago but I looked at the "My Requests" page of the FIFA website today and was shocked to see a section of the website called "TICKET COLLECTION" saying that "Your Tickets will be made available for collection at the Ticket Collection Locations which will be operated by FIFA in the host cities of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™, during the Last Minute Sales Phase starting from 18 April 2018 up until the final Match day of the competition."

I opted into delivery of my tickets and still haven't received them yet which is why I am so confused. According to the above, I now have to pick up my tickets in Russia...

If this is the case and my tickets are no longer being delivered to my address, I would like to have a friend pick up the tickets for me because I need to sell some tickets for games that will occur before I arrive in Russia. Has anyone successfully had a friend/third party pick up tickets in Russia for them on their behalf?

I've read the section on FIFA that says the below but am still confused at what is needed? Can I just go to a bank and get a notarized document saying that I give my friend authority to pick up tickets and email that over to my friend along with a copy of my passport?

"If you are collecting Tickets as a third party, you must be duly authorised by the Ticket Applicant by means of a notarised power of attorney specific for the collection of your Tickets and bring notarised copies of both yours and the Ticket Applicant’s identification documents with embedded photographs."

Sucks guys. with my TST7 they sent the the 3 group games and the Final; which according to their documentation is supposed to be picked up. The only explanation I can think is FIFA and DHL ran out of shipping money. Meaning, the money they had allocated for delivery is all gone (fuel costs etc..) and they decided to just screw the fans.

Anyhow, @BMfutbol16 ... what does this do to the bet? ;)

I think they ran out of time. Realized people already arriving and stopped sending. They tried to return to sender ours lol. They started sending too late tbh. I think brazil was two weeks ahead

When was the huge drop in Brazil and South Africa? It was by end of May, no?
Crossing my fingers we'll have such drops also in Russia.

I had come across a guy selling Game 52 a few days ago. If he still has them or if you find it from somewhere else will you give me Sochi tickets?

    Hi All
I have a CAT 1, MATCH 58 quarterfinal ticket in Kazan for sale, if anyone is interested.
Though I will need some guide on how to go about, as the ticket is already printed with my friend's name.
