I still hate those F#cken Rat Bastards (organization, players, fans) more than any one. Let's kick the living shit out them, and send their 10 or so pasty ass fans back up north with another loss. Let's get our 3 points !!
As bad as LAG has been this season, they're only two points out of a playoff spot. God bless the MLS Western Conference! We need to play more games in Canada. Two shutouts!
Or more specifically we need to play more crappy teams. Montreal and Vancouver have the worst and 3rd worst goal differentials in MLS (-13 and -8 respectively), mostly due to their weak offenses that score only about 1.1 goals per game. Our next victim SJE scores at an ok clip (1.6 g/gm) but they also have the worst defense in the league (25 goals allowed, 2.3 per game). Should be just the ticket. Also SJ would likely be a team that Zlatan would feast on if he hadn't committed such a dumb foul against Montreal.
4 of our next 6 games are against bottom-half of the table teams. And the other 2 are against Western Conference clubs above us in the standings. Now would be a good time for us to get our act together....
The Galaxy has to complete the turn. This is not a tactics or lack of personnel situation. They can do this. By the fickle finger of MLS scheduling we have two neer-do-wells one after the other and one has been put to bed. They have to rinse and repeat. It would really be nice if they just don't win but put the quaks in a sack and beat them into a heap and tippy-toe our sorry butts above the line of death. It would be good for morale. Theirs and the fans. I want to believe againbut they have burned me so now I am taking it one game at a time. Do it or like the other guy said go f yourselves.
Agree with this. Looking at his stats has been illuminating for several weeks. I wrote this in another thread, but he is doing two jobs. @TrickHog you know I usually agree with you, but I can't agree here. His workrate against Montreal was excellent (EDIT: or I could have just typed, "what @skydog said"). I was impressed by both him and Lletget, and not so enthused about Romain (which I know is heresy).
But if your going to be bad at least beat your rival(s). LAFC was a boost and something we could slide back on. Let's f up the smurfs
Fellow MLS fans, I did not post that inflammatory statement in your forum, nor would I, nor do I visit your forum. I expect you fans to hate us and our team, and I'm good with that. Though I'd be happy to drink beer with any of you, preferably in a neutral bar. Go MLS!! - Mark
Yep. That was all me. Though this has backfired horribly. It seems to have sparked cordial conversation. Perhaps even bonding. What have I done?? Magee forgive me! Get behind me Lenhart!! (would also be happy to share a beer)
I must admit that I find myself less hateful toward our old rivals than years past. Our cross-town filth seems to have taken most of my hate and focused it mainly in one spot. I think sj should be praying that Sacramento get in MLS so they can have a local rival and not lose relevance... again.
The question in this game is whether both Dos Santos players play and, if so, what kind of effort they will give. On the one hand, this is their last chance to impress Mexico's coach before going to camp (and he may be in attendance since the Mexican Nat'l team is in town, right?). Gio, in particular, has to prove he's fit again. On the other hand, they don't want to get injured right before the WC.
GAMEDAY. Will be interesting to see how the team plays with a pretty close to ideal line-up. Besides Feltscher, we should see the team that lined up for most of pre-season. If we still look ponderous, it'll tell us a lot.
Is this game supposed to be on UniMas. I don't see it schedule, it only shows the NY game and it shows it later than it's supposed to be.
We need to win -- obviously -- but also? No goals for Wondo to help him get closer to overtaking The Chosen 10ne's record.
Could we see Gio? Mexican media is demanding he play to show he is in condition to play. Gio's condition for today is undisclosed....
