That pic is a lot more dramatic than it should be. I've been to Chelsea/RM game there last year and sat diagonally and fairly high up. It was not that bad. Fairly comparable to pre-reconstruction Luzhniki that I used to frequent a decade or two ago. The latter got significantly better after the reconstruction and the view even high up in the corner should be pretty good. But do get an updated prescription glasses, if you use those.

Here's some random link with Luzhniki pics before and after the reconstruction.

    Notified this morning, arrive tomorrow.
Cat 1 seats - I'm sure they will be crap and near the corner flag - they always are.

American here and if I had a choice I’d sit in the first row behind goal versus row 46 up the middle. I can get that same view watching on tv from home.

God knows why. You see nothing from there and certainly not anything tactical in the game or how it is panning out.

If lucky you might just be able to see the make of the keeper's gloves.

But I think we have discussed this a fair bit already.

I have two CAT 2 tickets for Germany vs Sweden, June 18th. I can either exchange for Mexico vs Germany or sell, $300 each; I kid, of course face value. I will pick up these tickets in Russia so the exchange will need to happen there. I will place these back on FIFA resale on Saturday if no one here is interested.

I'm American and rather be up in the clouds with a sideline view than down low behind the net. I even sat dead center at midfield 6 rows up once and I absolutely hated it. The depth perception for viewing the game is poor when down that low.

With that said, I'll take any seats within my CAT's. I just want to get them soon! hahaha

I selected the opt out of delivery option a few days after the start of the LMS phase. I didn’t get any notification but on the 1st of May all my tickets became available for resale. Shortly after that whatever tickets I did not submit for resale returned to the ‘printed’ status. If you haven’t seen any change in the status of your tickets by now it probably means delivery is already in process.

Guys, can we please stay on topic here. This is a ticket thread.

For the new guys, again, please read the various FIFA ticket FAQs, which can be found on the official World Cup website. If your question is not answered, please contact FIFA.

If you would like to discuss stadium beer and food, or debate where it's better to sit, please make a post on stadium experience, attending games, etc.

    Thank you.

I agree with you man. People here think they can bash on new members for asking stupid? questions. Some people here are going to their first world cup (like myself) and have tons of questions and have no time to look through 442 pages of comments/replies (some unrelated to the thread topic). Let's all just chill.

There are that many posts/pages because people keep asking the same question over and over. Otherwise it would be half the pages at least. Or the people that have question after question after question, which is fine because we are here to share after all, but then they ask the same question they themselves already asked. The World cup doesn't start until June 14th So FIFA got time to send the stuff out yet.

Not to bash on you, but if it was my first world cup, I would make time to read 442 pages about the world cup process, tickets, hotels, flights, beer, delivery, ticket process, scanners from all the very experienced and knowledgeable people here. These guys take time to do the research for you and post links for you, but you don't care to read that, you only care about what interest you at the moment. It would all be interesting to me. But I guess some people just want to show up to a forum, get only what they need, and bounce.

I don’t bother when my tickets arrive so long it is before 13th of June when I’m leaving. I hopped during the waiting time to read many funny, interesting stories about last WCs and another random stuff. I work daily with DHL and know the madness behind the system. So keep calm mates.

That’s awesome to hear. I thought I got a late start with 2014 being my first one but it’s great to see that I can do many many more after this one.

Funnily at the time I knew nothing about the Austria Germany game because i was at England Kuwait and per internet it was not easy to pick much up unless you spoke Spanish.

Anyway will get told off if I say any more as has bugger all to do with tickets.

Right there with ya! Brasil was my first one and I spent a ton of time researching. If I got paid for reading through posts and forums to get the info I needed, it would have paid for my Brasil and Russia trip. But I feel that you get out what you put in. The more you invest in researching (this forum or others) the better off you will be in getting the info you need. Because of this forum I was able to get tickets to 2014 and 2018. Met wonderful people and even helped out a few fellow fans with different things.

Okay :D Maybe you can then answer me another very interesting fact. How do you order/got Tickets in a time before the Internet?! As me, how grow up in the new age, this is the most interest fact. How do you arrange a hole WC with no Internet, no knowledge about the Language and so long

Not to answer for @Ric_Braz but usually you would do it with the association of your home country. So he probably had to call US Soccer or whatever might have been the equivalent back then or via phone directly to Spain in that example. I may be misremembering but I believe @Ric_Braz mentioned this in the other thread. Or maybe one other of the WC veterans.

I actually do that (read through the pages that I haven't read from the previous day) but I find it very difficult to do so because of the "off topic" questions/comments posted usually by the "Pros". WTH does beer have to do with tickets?

I try to imagine how do you try to get an agent to the phone. How long did you hear please hold the line. The next Agent is reserved for you.

Is the official BS currency. You have to offer someone a beer in Russia when provided with help in the boards. Is the law!*

    *not really.
