I disagree, I don't think European teams will pay the amount of money Monterrey is offering and they don't have any players we can get in return. If Pizarro is leaving we have to get back something in return

Doubt Almeyda leaves Chivas. He wants to coach in the club world cup. If the club doesn’t get there shit together after that he’s as good gone imo.

Dude, this is what is to pay when you have a team that plays with only nationals. I told you guys a while ago: for Chivas to compete for an extended period of time it will need to produce and play its canteranos.

No business can run the way Chivas is set up in. They sell chivas players at extortion prices, and can choose whom they will sell.

You guys want to keep that prideful only Mex players, then this will be the new norm. Vergara has spent tons of money on players over the years--especially the last few.

Also, it's not a big deal. We sold a player and got paid. If your feelings are hurt, then welcome to real world business. This isn't...Madden.

I disagree. Chivas could pay those prices with no problems. Tigres and Monterrey dont even come close to what chivas gets from sponsors, tv contract, shirts, etc, and are able to pay those "extortion prices". Chivas has sold players at "extortion prices" as well. If Barcelona and Borussia contact Liverpool for Firminho, do you really think both clubs will get the same price tag?

The truth is that Vergara doesnt care about the team, he cares about making money and Chivas makes a lot.

If he is really in a crisis after his divorce, he should just sell the team. There will always be suitors.

That is all assumption on your part.

On the Barcelona Borussia comment: you refuse to see the reality of it; it is not comparable. That analogy would work if you were talking about and comparing all the other 17 teams. It's simple math...numbers. Supply and demand.

I really don't understand why people like you refuse to see the reality of this subject.

I dont quite get you. I think the reality is that Vergara knows people will follow the team regardless, investing or not. Given the fact that Chivas is the most lucrative soccer team in Mexico and the US, it should at least be a serious contender for all the championships it participates.

Not a fan of pizarro leaving, but if he does it should be to europe. Use some of that money for montes or araujo, and then use zaldivar and chofis as trading chips fpr other transfers. It would suck to let chofis go, but the dude is kind of inconsistent in a position in which we have depth. Zaldivar leaving iant a huge loss imo. I think alot of mexican teams would like having him, and we have pulido, godinez and macias who can step in.

Zaldivar loves the team but like you said we have a lot of forwards. Lets not forget Ronaldo Cisneros. Araujo is a long shot. Im predicting he is going to have a good wc and will be bought by an European team. I would like Mier, Montes, or Salcedo.

    Not entirely

A club like Chivas has to aspire to go for everything

I’m still kinda annoyed that we had a chance to make it into the liguilla but threw it all away for CCL

You never see Euro clubs pull this shit

So is Pizarro really going to Monterrey? Or is he "forced" to go to Monterrey?

At the end of the day he decides if he wants to join or not, correct?

Again, you talk like one of those housewives that hears things from the comadre and hates on the chusma...o como se diga. No offense.

You don't quite get me? It's math. Chivas can only get Mexican players. Go wiki the law of supply and demand...or some such.

Why would chivas have a shitty season?

If this chich thing is legit, then, we have a team that can compete. Remember, last season we sucked because we could not score. We played well--many times better than opponent, but we just could not score.

With the chich there...ha, Pulido will become a phenomenon. Trust me. Pride will make Pulido put the pilas on straight.

    Excited.

When did i hate on chusma? Investas, la comadre pareces tu hahaha. Supply and demand? Porto plays with more mexicans than most Mexicans teams. Hay esta tu supply and demand. You talk like us mexicans are wanted all over the world. Ve la realidad. I understand, there is a few mexicans out of reach for chivas but not all are. They could have easily convince Vela, gio, jonathan, salcido at the time, guardado, moreno, to come. Its just a matter of paying the most.

Is not? You tell me otherwise? What is your rational for not investing?
Again, tell me what is the demand of the mexican players? Europe is a dream and thats why most of them make it a priority, regarless of what they are going to get paid. Now if you tell me that all the clubs in the worlld are dying for mexican players then i would understand, but since that is not the case. There is no demand mi chavo.
