Sorry to burst your Bubble I’ve sold my Serbia v Switzerland out of a Serbia TST7 and have refund pending clearly there in my Ticket account Waiting on my second one now to sell.

 

On the surface it does sound that FIFA found a heart. However until you go and look at the fine print and you read fifa is under no obligation to resell your returned ticket until they’ve sold out their own inventory first. So they are not doing you a favour at all. A low end game may never sell out

 

Other question. That is my first WC and need some experience from last WCs. How are the chances to get Tickets, at match day, at the Stadium for FV?

 

Fifa resold my two Costa Rica matches against Switzerland and Serbia very quickly. I think these matches will have more tickets available even for resell or return for sponsors. Maybe FIFA could wait until last minute to put these tickets for not so popular matches to resell. I don’t think the stadiums will be totally full in these two Costa Rica matches.

 

Depends sometimes you get lucky with someone with a TST4/5/6 who’s team gets knocked out and they don’t want to go to that game. I picked up a pair like that before in a pub. I’ve also sold a pair at face to a Dutchman like that when Oz got eliminated. As you walk closer to the 2-3km exclusion zones you’ll see people with signs looking to buy and sell. The metro stations close to the stadium you’ll see sellers and buyers too. Demand does drive the price up and down and so does the time close to KO. There are variables and most rely on your nerve to hold steady and not just take the first ticket you see unless it is at FV

 

Yeah I thought the same. I would wait till the doomsday clock comes near to Kickoff. Even after Kickoff I would take Tickets under FV.

 

Question to the ticket experts.
If I click on "opt out of the delivery" in the resale site, will I be able to pick those tickets up later at a ticketing center? Leaving home in a few weeks and would rather maximize my chances of getting those.

The Fifa opt out of delivery is not fool proof as the fine print suggests. FIFA says it will try to stop delivery. However unless you know for certain they haven’t been printed and shipped out to DHL yet then there is no guarantee

 

Sure, no guarantees, but I'm trying to maximize the chances. I just couldn't find anything about a pick-up option for tickets that I opted out of delivery for (assuming the request to do so gets honored).

 

Here’s a bit of clue if they are shipped for delivery already. It’s not fool proof but it should help. Go to your ticket account and try to resell your tickets obviously don’t go thru with it. When you press the hide my tickets button. You will see printed and then also the in ability to resell if that’s the case then my best case they are with DHL. If it says printed but it lets you put up for sale then there’s probably a good chance you could opt out as DHL don’t have them. That’s my best opinion and I’d be happy to stand corrected if any others have a better guess.

No he didn't do it for himself. He 100% did it to sell it and mass distribute it, which is 100% fine, he should be able to sell his work, but don't ********ing lie like it is an altruistic endeavor.

 

Questions for anyone that has successfully resold tickets on the FIFA platform:

• Were they TST tickets or individual tickets?
• Did you click the opt out of delivery button?
• How were you notified that the tickets had sold?

1. They were a TST 7 2 Group Games

2. No I did not opt out of delivery

3. When you go to the click the hide tickets orange button and it shows your games you’ve put up for resale or can resale the 2 matches I’ve put from the TST7. 1 says pending refund and I can no longer retrieve it. The 2nd match also out of the TST7 is still there marked as resell and is still unsold which can be still retrieved

Note I’ve received no email or text saying it’s sold
