tfc lost when they bunkered in for that stretch in the second half....it never works to just act like possession isnt important....why do us teams keep going back to that poisoned well???

Josmer checked himself out of the game to avoid it.

 

Toronto has all my respect. I think Chivas deserves this title. Toronto was a very worthy opponent.

 

That might have been one of the worst shootout attempts I’ve ever seen.

It also looked a lot like his typical free kick delivery.

 

I would love to see the statistical analysis on stutter-step shots versus normal runups.

Everyone should be running from damn-near midfield like Blanco used to.

 

Losing in penalties sucks. But that's how it goes. Great fight from Toronto. But damn, Jozy's lack of fitness strikes again. And when tied on aggregate, 3-3, Toronto should have went for it. At that point, a goal for them was worth much more than a goal for Chivas. But again, losing on penalties is just luck of the draw. Well, not actually, when Bradley is taking one of those penalties, but you know what I mean.

 

So the guy with the hamstring injury "cried like a little girl" and Jozy faked an injury to avoid taking a penalty kick?

Yeah, you're going into the void forever.

As soon as I saw Bradley step up to take that PK, I knew that it was over.

I feel like this really captures the essence of both guys. One just doesn’t show up when it counts and the other tries but just can’t get it done.
