Congratulations to the B.U. mens soccer team for an outstanding year. They only lose 3 seniors and already have gotten oral agreements from 3 very good players. They are solid in the back with Chad Comroe in goal returning along with Zach Kirby, Matt Cross, and Shane Westbrook. Midfield of Jamie Johnson, Steve Gahl, and forwards Roland Ehrilchman and Sedrick Chin. They will be going a little further in the NCAA next year.
Roland used to play on my club team Santos. It's good to here is representing our club down in Boston so well.
Roland, as a freshman led the team in scoring. They have 2 strong freshman who both started and played the majority of the minutes. The other one is shane westbrook another very good player who played on the Busch team that won nationals last year
It's good that they can schedule the top teams in the country, but they have to start beating a few of them if BU wants to become a consistant top 20 team. And ties against those clubs where they get outshot 15-2 don't count either. They have improved, but they need to find a lot more than just 3 good players. Maybe if they were in a tougher conference they'd get the Top-Top talent. A great conference can be a incredible recruiting tool.
