This morning I get up and tune into Sportscenter to see if by chance they show any highlights of yesterdays games, and they did! A whole 42 seconds worth. Thanks ESPN. Their highlight of Heaps' gaol against Columbus was so bad you couldn't even really see it. So I got to wondering how many minutes they might show of MLS Cup seeing how the game is on a Sunday and that day will be full of NFL games. Go ahead and vote.
They will show a couple of goals and the team with the trophy. It may be on its own or with today's best.
ESPN Ticker Hey, I was actually very surprised the other night while watching the Kings vs. Coyotes hockey game that ESPN showed the MLS Cup Playoff Results on their ticker. I had to rub my eyes a couple times as the tears started pouring down---could it be Yeah, so it's a start, but hopefully it's a sign of things to come. GO GALAXY and win it all !! maybe the Burn will do it next year..
Twell girl, you were wrong on both points. Go Revs and 1 to 2 minutes of highlights on Sportscenter. This just in, my counter on the VCR shows 25 seconds. My good hell, that is worst than what I thought. 61,000 soccer fans in attendance and we get 25 seconds of highlights. I thought they would at least show a quick shot of the trophy getting hoisted but all they showed was Cobi craddling it under his arm. And then at the beginning of the show they showed a quick shot from another soccer game, looked like maybe Lazzio but then didn't bother to show it durring the show. I'll watch the later Sportscenter to see if we get any more highlights but I doubt it. But the majority of poll voters got it correct, less than 1 minute.
Well, they would have had to search pretty hard to find much more than 25 seconds of highlights from that game...
