Philadelphia Union can win MLS Cup because… Borek Dockal isn’t another Jay Simpson. Nope, the Czech No. 10 is exactly what the Union were looking for, and opens up the game for C.J. Sapong, David Accam, who stays healthy, and Fabian Herbers/Fafa Picault while Alejandro Bedoya and Haris Medunjanin provide the foundation for a whole lot of Doop. Also, (Auston) Trusty the Process works out as well as "Trust the Process". You got this, Jim Curtin. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018...y-team-can-win-mls-cup-2018-atlanta-vancouver
The man hasn’t played a minute yet. Yeesh did Earnie write this propaganda himself? If you listen to Wiebe actually talk outside of a gimmick article I’m pretty sure he has no confidence in the Union.
And in their Eastern Conference preview on ExtraTime Radio, he said the Union wouldn't make the playoffs.
Kinkead and his guest this week, Simon Allen, really hit the nail on the head in this week's IASIF podcast.
I haven’t been a huge Allen fan the two times he’s been on and he’s clearly not well versed in the Union, but some of his big picture ideas are okay. I agree with Kinkead in most things though, he’s always pretty spot on imo.
Tomorrow we can drive around this town And let the cops chase us around The past is gone but something might be found To take its place ... Hey jealousy
I'm trying to figure out why Dollar Dog night is an 8:00 start?!?!? Dollar Dogs are a 5:00-6:00 thing. I'm ready for Dollar Turkey Hill pints by 8.
Flyers game will prevent some from going. Club seats can be had for $36. Midfield for $26. Season tickets have a negative value for most sections currently. This will be my last season. I'll go to the secondary market for next year.
Trying to decide where the line is between investment in seat location and annual loss on cost of tickets. If I bought tickets based solely on my valuation of enjoyment of attending a game I think I'd be looking for tickets that cost less than the price of bridge+parking right now. As far as dollar dog night, I think about $0.25 "is all that I could stand. Sometimes bad is bad." as Huey Lewis put it. #yesIamanoldfartnowgetthefoffmylawnyoudumbpunkandgetahaircutwhileyou'reatit
I was fixated on my seat location for awhile but then I exchanged some seats last year and sat in different sections. It didn't affect my enjoyment in attendance. Every sections has good views... stay away from some aisles though. Switched sections this year after they raised the price in my section again (still a head scratcher). Now I have no reason for loyalty. There are no valuable benefits to me for being a season ticket holder yet alone a founding member. Let me throw another STH scarf in the bottom of the closet.
I'm wondering if there has been a shake up in our media department. I remember when they were kind of the highlight of of our team. Everything they put out was golden. I can't recall anything recently that has been a smash hit, and this video is another one that just seems "phoned in."
