    I would never pay the insane prices they charge for these meaningless friendly games. Public is being ripped off big time but as long people buy the seats they will charge the ridiculous prices.

    Yup, so under the pretense of finding a team like Germany, we should have honestly just threw money at the best quality side that we could find that wasn't germany, and visited them. I'm sure we could have swooped on like a France friendly with the right $$$$$$.

    If we got killed it would honestly have told us more about where we will stand collectively down the road against a hitter team like germany, rather than playing a solid Croatia squad who might not even play key guys, and THEN getting slaughtered later because we thought we figured something out....

    I just want a win man ;_;

    The closest team to Germany in terms of style is Spain. That would have been a more ideal friendly. France has great individuals but don't play as a team. They are overrated in my opinion.

    Osorio said 'Burrito', Gallardo, and Jona González will have minutes against Croatia... The inquiry would be how many minutes...

    Friendlies are friendlies

    In '06 We played France & Holland in preparation for the WC
    '10 We played Chile, Holland, England & Italy

    We had beaten Chile right before the 7-0 fiasco just a few weeks prior.

    The only matches that count IMO are competitive ones. Confed Cup/Copa America

    The rest are moleros

    I hope to see E. Alvarez get a start. We have seen Burrito get a couple of shots so he should have a chance to show what he can offer.

    Drop him? Like out the world cup? That would the stupidest thing he could do

    When it comes to Mexico JM Corona is a gamechanging talent and should be a lock on the team

    Everyone needs to chill, they’re not playing Tecate as a precaution. Why risk him for a meaningless friendly 3 months away from the WC

    The one problem I see that both Lozano and Tecatito play much better in the left wing. It allows them to dribble and cut inside to shoot or cross. When they play on the right they are limited because they are pretty much forced to cross since they don’t have a strong left leg to shoot. Both can’t start and that’s fine since either one would be a great sub option.

    If his play deteriorates enough to make him useless on the field because of his personal situation. Then why not? Why waste a roster spot?

    I don't want that to happen because Corona is among the best Mexico when his game is on point.

    I hope I am wrong and I am being too overzealous about this situation.
