Watched the match, if Werder can continue to play like this they can go far in the Champions League.

Klasnic is an absolute killer, brilliant striker.

Awesome match! Klasnic ruled the box but also Klose was performing very well.

    klasnic woohoo
bravo and micoud as well with all those assists

just goes to show how pathetic it was that he didnt play in the euros instead our idiot coach at the time played sokota from benfica which everyone knew was a joke.
Turns out he played sokota in all 3 games in which he was horrible b/c sokotas agent is a previous player under baric in austria and they thought with a couple of goals sokota would get transfered into a bigger club and the national team coach would get a cut of the transfer fee LOOOOOSER

    Bravo Klasnic
    keep you head up kid

Wish I'd seen it. My wife read something in the Danish papers (the headline was Jensen's goal) and told me last night....she was trying to cheer me up.

    Looking forward

Inter is already through-- they've got nothing to play for. Maybe they'll sit Adriano.

Bremen really needs to get (at least) a point when they have Inter at home. Don't want the Valencia game to be meaninful.

Ahh, horrible game. Hertha destroy football. Every Bremen game I've seen this season has been a draw or a loss, with this being the only draw.
But it was a nice header from Madlung, even if he is a mediocre player otherwise.

Charisteas is a class act. He didn't whine about his playing time, just worked hard and it payed off. I wish he got to play more.

Bremen has some players back now. Pasanen got back from Finland where he was because of his mothers unexpected death. But unfortunately some players that are back from injuries are not in shape yet like Borowski or Davala. Especially Tim Borowski lost many posessions against Hertha and Trier. In normal shape it's literally impossible to take the ball away from Tim but he's just not working as hard as he should.
Jensen (2 goals against Trier) and Charisteas (1 against Hertha) are doing OK. Still missing Lisztes, Fahrenhorst and Gustavo. I don't know whether Lagerblom is practising again.

Just wondering how other Bremen fans feel about the latest trade rumours (and realities)? I personally hope that Stalteri decides to stay, but I'm sure he'll get some tempting offers from other clubs and leagues.

Well I'm upset that Ernst will be leaving, but at least he was professional about it. *cough* Ailton *cough*
I wasn't aware of any offers for Stalteri.

Stalteri's contract is up at the end of this season, and since there are so many Germans who can also play his position, hi might not get much of an offer. It's always been his dream to play in the English Premier League.

And... I agree with your coughing... Ailton was such a big baby about everything!!

I am pretty confident about Bremen chances right now.

** They are right there with the front runners despite dropping a lot points that they should of kept

** They lead the Bundesliga in goals and goal-differential.

(The six against Freiburg helped, but were far from an anomaly.)
