I think he had some computer issues. Well we lose at home to FC Groningen 1-2. Kuyt scored for us, but with Ono out again with injury, Song and Bosschaart out still with suspension - we are weak. They need Dempsey! Looked at the history...Groningen beat us at home 2-1 last year as well.

I actually got to attend this game. Kalou is one lucky SOB. He basically sucked the entire game: not winning aerial balls; poor passing; getting stripped of the ball on the ground. But he had two good plays - both sprinting downfield with the ball. And on the second one he scored. But most of the 2nd half NEC dominated. BTW, Feyenoord should have picked up Clint Dempsey. Ono also played poorly and did not influence the game. Hell, they could pick up Clint Mathis if you want a central mid who makes weak passes and puts shots over the crossbar.

Nice Result That must have been alot of fun. Way to hang in there. Mental toughness. I read that Ruud was unhappy with the quality of our play I gather that we forced into playing long ball, which didn't turn out so bad.

SVVSMC is from schiedam (a rotterdam sub-urb) its a team that plays the highest amature division. I was at the game because a friend of mine played at svvsmc...(next year he will play for sparta...and hopefully in the eredivisie, that would be nice for him ). I was surprised by the qualities of svv, feyenoord convinced but didn't realy score (3-0 against an amature team...)

i;m sorry ibut i hate the feyenoord policy...all those players from abroad...(i dont mean dutch Black and Arabian people) i mean people who dont have a dutch passport...they need to look in the youth teams.....and i dont know why they would buy a new attacker. with bousabon kuyt castelen and kalou nest season in front, they should look for defenders.
You can try to talk some sense into the people at Feyenoord, but you will not succeed. But who needs cover in the back with enormous talents like Östlund and Gibbs . I would like Feyenoord, PSV and Ajax at the same level next year. But then I hope they are all at the level PSV is this year. Nothing better then winning prizes against real opposition.
