  1. He was the one PSV wanted to buy for the defense. He made a stupid choice as the City Football Group is buying wholesale players and then tries to put them out on loan.
Palmer-Brown, with alot of hype signed for them too and now is in limbo about where he will end up.
These are young players still needing development. But why would a club want to pay for a player while adding value on him for those vulgares.

    Johan Inan 29-01-18, 18:36 Laatste update: 18:42

If he did sign for them without a payrise far above of what PSV would pay him, he and his agent are fools. His future payrises depend on what he shows in meaningful confrontations, like EL and CL.
After this stunt of this trade house bunch by stealing a player PSV wanted (they did it with that Ukrainian midfielder last season and Palmer-Brown this winter too) it doesnot make it realistic he's going to have a meaningful loan in the Eredivisie. Not with PSV, Feyenoord or Ajax. So he will stall in his development and eventually end up in a low flying top league club. Brilliant choice.
To call it a dream transfer by the journy is fecking moron.

He also put in the pass that caused the penalty for their first goal. He was fantastic and probably the 2nd best player for Watford yesterday. Would like to see him called back up.

I thought I would never say this, but Mike van der Hoorn is playing quite well at Swansea as they are now out of the drop zone.

[QUOTE = "Doogs, post: 36265930, member: 182821"] so Roma have signed up to 16 year old colombian born dutch winger by the name of Vicente Besuijen. Apparently turned down Tottenham to join Roma according to the kid himself.

    https://www.transfermarkt.com/vicente-besuijen/profil/spieler/412954 [/ QUOTE]

You think that we can sway him to play for Colombia if we improve while the Dutch attempt to rediscover themselves? It could be a while for him and because he hasn't played at senior level, he could be a promising player for us

not really.it mainly due to emergence of Lorenzo pellegrini who is performing better than him. nainggolan and Strootman- were both more BTB type and with De Rossi,Nainggolan shifted to AM forming the formidable midfield. Pellegrini is young and more creative than strootman. Strootman- is jus hanging in there and its highly likely due to his injury which he never recovered fully. I'm not sure if he might be groomed at DM should De Rossi hang his boot.

Afellay could've been a world-class player. Bad career choices and that terrible injury at Barca played a role in him not reaching the absolute top.

  15. Koeman visited the matches in the Eredivisie this weekend. I guess he only saw at AZ something that looked like football. Given the woefull play of the other big teams he must have wondered what he was thinking to sign up for the Orange job.

Afellay had very good quickness and a hard shot; unfortunately he had very poor field sense and tried to do too much rather than finding open players. to me this is the biggest failing of a player and we see it right now in Kluivert. Fortunately, Kluivert is still young and learning.

I've watched some of the recent Swansea matches and he has been playing quite well. I think he warrants at least a look at by Koeman.
