Chicharito takes advantage of the situation scores two goals and starts getting his form back as well as confidence from the coach /fingers crossed
West Ham is such a terrible team.... but Chicharo is pretty bad too. We already knew he'd be a ghost on a bad team though.
I tuned in after the first half and i don think ive seen a goal shot yet from west ham. They have gotten a red card so 1 man down and then a hand ball lead to a penalty they are down 2-0. The chemistry on this club is garbage, Chicharito just doing cardio out there
This is frustrating to watch. He is getting 0 service. Masauku is an idiot for getting sent off for spitting.
What is up with chicharo though. I mean I get that west ham hasn’t lived up to the expectations I think everyone had, but the one thing I think we all appreciated about his game was his attitude / work rate. It’s just very disappointing to see him give 60% effort and join gio and vela just earning a paycheck every weekend.
Totally talking out of my ass. I guess people see what they want to see and perhaps I will use a less combative tact lol. That’s why when cresswell puts in a cross he’s outside of the eighteen yard box just looking around. Sure he had the run where he played the ball to Joao Mario but I can’t think of another contribution aside from the blocked shot against a lower league side.
The British commentators are saying that Chicharo is linked to MLS .. Sigh 3-4-3 with Chicharo as the target man, can tell that the strategy was that when the other team attacks he stays up to wait for the counter attack thats why he didnt defend much. I think the formation was good for him but the squad has zero chemistry no shots on goals in second half enough said. Also a red card did not help
There was a time when the prospect of drawing Millwall in the FA cup with Chico on the pitch would have excited me. Now, he should have handed his transfer request the moment Moyes was announced as manager of West Ham United.
You got that from the commenter. Lol. Never mind he started that play in the midfield and was just getting to the play as it completed. Lol
I love Cheech but you can't defend him. He's been shit all year and it was his decision to go to West Ham. Real talk, he's turned into an injury prone diva since he left Real Madrid.
IDK man I was happy when he was in Leverkusen, West Ham as a team has been playing bad and 1 thing I can agree with is that his enthusiasm/morale has gone way low he doesnt have the energy/illusion that he did in his early Euro career years.
Ffs, the guy got no service. Zero. The team had no shots on target all match. Against a third division side. As it is, West Ham has hardly any creativity to begin with, and what does Moyes do? Plays six defenders. Gutless. But do the English commentators say anything about that? No. It's always the players' fault. Never giving enough. And interestingly enough it always seems to be the foreign players like Cheech who don't hustle sufficiently, whereas British players at least show grit and fight even in losing efforts. Remember how Cheech was having a disappointing year despite being the club's league scorer? Yet nothing of the sort ever seemed to be mentioned about Carroll when he was on zero goals up until very recently. He was "always a threat in the air." Always. Cheech, meanwhile, had not "lived up to the hype." As I said a while ago, he should just gtfo.
Ever since Moyes was appointed as West Ham manager, Cheech’s days were numbered. He should leave if he can.

He's had one good season in many years, that was his first year in Germany, where they babied him and let him start game after game, until he finally started scoring. He was starting to lose his spot to Kevin Volland, who's basically the new Cheech over there now. They're probably glad they got rid of him. Sadly, no other Mexican striker is taking advantage of this, so his spot in the NT is safe, or this would be his third WC were he's not the main striker.
Babied him? He scored in only his second outing with them. And in a CL match, no less. Sure, he wasn't scoring in every single game initially, but he was certainly earning his keep. He eventually scored 26 goals in that first season in Germany, and 13 in his second--not a boatload, but still more than Volland and everyone else in that team during a terrible year for them. Leverkusen didn't do him any favors.
