Also known as the 1,000,000,000,000th example of corruption in FIFA. Hosts nearly always get either the group of life, or one darn near close to it. See 2014, 2010, 2006, 2002, 1998 1994, 1990, 1986, 1982 and of course now 2018. Not all of these were groups of life, but when you have 10 consecutive world cups where the host's group isn't amongst the top 3 to 4 toughest and often is either the easiest or close to it, that's not a trend, that's corruption and fraud. I don't believe in coincidences that have happened 10 consecutive times, partcularly if FIFA or the IOC is standing within 90,000,000 miles of it let alone 1.
