Heard at Saturday's match that Navion isn't coming back. Not really surprised, nice guy and all but nothing special IMHO, lots of players out there at his level.
The Battery is playing Miami FC right now in Jax in a scrimmage, looks like our former Cuban Battery player Martinez is in the Miami lineup. Miami is providing Twitter feeds and Snapchat updates if you're interested.
Apparently, he thought he was worth more, than anyone else, even though he hadn't played enough to be noticed.
Lamar Neagle scored the opening goal for his new team DC United last night against LA. Dc fell apart in the second half and lost 4-1.
Nice goal but looks like the gk should have maybe gotten it. He's really turned into a very good player, I think he got a bit screwed in seattle, he did everything they asked of him. Yeah, he didn't score as many goals last year but he was mainly used as a sub. If he could regularly score goals as a sub he'd be playing in Europe.
Ryan Richter left Ottawa (do they have any players left?) and landed with Bethlehem Steel. We'll get to welcome him back in person on Sept 10. http://www.uslsoccer.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=32800&ATCLID=210779725
With head coach Adrian Heath getting the ax in Orlando a couple days ago, Mark Watson has also left. Almost all the front office staff was fired or has left in the last year. The once proud OC franchise seems to be reshuffling its DNA. Heath and Watson Gone From OC
