I was at the St. Louis vs Harrisburg game, very light crowd. The capacity of the Family Arena is about 5,000 (they use the lower bowl only). Then the Ambush lost (nothing new there). The new owners are sincere in their efforts to make the team better, but if they can't sell tickets or win games, how much longer can the team survive? Right now the Ambush are shift supervisors at the Red Flag manufacturing company. They need to sign some better players and try to salvage the season.
Definitely tickets distributed there. This was a big youth league giveaway game. I estimated 900-1000. Looks especially bad on broadcasts as most people sit on the arena entrance side and not opposite the cameras. Attendance in the area was light for Iowa wrestling (I was there) and Roughrider hockey (saw highlights) as well.
I attended a Cedar Rapids game last season, more people do sit on that one side. Probably didn't help that it was a Sunday game.

The crowd was really weak last night in Harrisburg. The team has been very entertaining the last year so the lack of support is disheartening. I feel like I need to use up all of my ticket vouchers quickly before something happens to the team (or the league).
Yeah, a poor crowd in Milwaukee last night. There are three certainties with the Wave attendance... 1) They really push three games... the opener, New Years Eve and the last regular season game. With good attendance at those three, they can fade some clunkers. 2) December games (other than New Years Eve) are death for the Wave. 3) Promos don't drive attendance (unless Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers are appearing). That said, they had a really good Michael Jackson impersonator at halftime.
Saturday, December 2, 2017 (with commentary) St. Louis @ Baltimore - 2,923 (when's the last time B'more had under 3,000 for a game) Ontario @ Harrisburg - no report (this is becoming an annoying trend) Turlock @ El Paso - 200 (could have predicted this one)

I realize this is off topic..but I wanted you guys to see a Florida Panthers game tonight headed into the 3rd period in Florida for attendance sakes. Just makes me wonder if there is even less hope for us indoor fans this year. Look at what a big bad NHL team is doing on a Monday night.
They CLAIM to be averaging 12,689, but that appears to be a crowd of less than 5,000. *11,210 was announce attendance
UPDATE; Fri 12/1 STL at Harrisburg 822 Sat 12/2 Ontario at Harrisburg 1007 Thought the Heat would be drawling better with a competitive team and a good coach. Tickets are affordable and I like how the Heat are now shooting off flames and lights in the goal when the Heat score. Not sure what is going on in Harrisburg.

I was not able to attend tonight's Ambush game due to a schedule conflict but watching some of the game online, that crowd was very weak. They reported 1598 but looked like less than that (it was on a 'Star Wars' theme night too - those don't sell tickets either). Harrisburg's low attendance is concerning but also poor crowds in Saint Louis. Of course, they have been losing games for a long while, but I am not seeing much real advertising/marketing of the team here locally. How hard are the Ambush selling their tickets? Is this a 'Field of Dreams' marketing philosophy? They seem to have a decent number of sponsors but fans aren't showing up as they have in past years.
