Holy shit Auba and CP need to go to couples counseling at this point... how did Auba miss the target from that flick on?

Chemistry matters. Auba & Dembele had a bit of magic going on. That's not going to be easily replicated.

Always notice those pairs of players who complement each other. That's what CP needs at this point, someone who's on the same page with him.

You can argue that he's turning into BVB's best player before our eyes.

I feel like he and Gotze have a lot of chemistry which is a continuation from last year.

Only caught the last 35 minutes of the game, and it was a wide open game which favors CP. He was fantastic, very influential, and could've had a goal/assist or two.

Tired at the end due to his massive runs and just the nature of the game, back and forth. Damn he was good. Too bad of the outcome but was good to see him dominate. Not sure what the first half for him was like, i'll rewatch.

I've seen you make this claim a few times, but I don't buy it.

CP has delivered plenty of chances on a platter for Auba, case in point the two chances at the end of this game and the one at the death in Cyprus.

If Auba finishes as well as he did last year there's no question about chemistry.

That exact play happened last year, maybe against benfica? and Auba finished it. He's off

very interesting to compare this kid to Delle Alli and Kylian Mbappe. No reason to think he can't be right there with them throughout his and their careers.

No, it's clearly Pulisic's fault for Auba missing those shots because he didn't do enough to create chemistry.

Well, he didn't have a perfect game. He missed the obvious pass (like the one to Götze) a few times. Also, he's not as effective on the left, and many people have noticed it.

Auba should have finished at least two of the chances, though. I think some of the Schwatzgelb fans are being a bit unfair today, criticizing Pulisic when he was one of the best on the field.

My take, to paraphrase the commentator, "A nineteen year old is carrying the team." Aubameyang has fallen off a cliff as far as his scoring is concerned. He is likely to receive his third or fourth straight rating of 4.5 or worse. Pulisic needs to be given free rein to find the game and direct the attack, whether out wide right, left or directly up the middle working closer with Goetze.

And it was Auba's out of form ass that completely missed a wide open CP for the tap in goal in the 1st half.

Pulisic isn't the problem in their attack. It's their 100% reliance on Auba and his ice cold form that has persisted for over a month now.

What's the football equivalent to a slump buster? Maybe Auba should try one.

I think it was two games ago, but the commentators of one of the league games went as far to say that Pulisic needs to play the 10 role, because he’s the one player that makes things happen. Said tht Boz is wasting him out wide.

If the player has heart and drive, I've found the bench works wonders in shaking 'the slump'.

Not sure CP is long for BVB if this keeps up. Suitors will start looking better and better.

Pulisic is the exact opposite of a problem. He's literally carrying the attack from a support position.

If PB can't see the problem and keeps trying to play either Kagawa or Goetze in the middle over Pulisic, unfortunately I think there's going to be consequences to that

Seems the president has said it many times along with the infamous phrase (for him)...'my good friend' with the person he's talking about squirming in obvious discomfort. Good times.

You should read the German boards. I think they have superior analysis, when compared to what you find here.

BTW, the Schwatzgelb forum is down intermittently.
