http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/3995581.stm This seems to be a good sign. I know if any Spurs centre backs get injured he will most likely be called back, but it's encouraging that he feels happy and wants to extend his stay. He's certainly been one of the best things to have happened to our team this season.
That really is good to hear that these players want to hang around. Problem is when he leaves how will we fill that spot. I think they should be grooming Anton for that spot. Anyone know how many loan players we have (sorry lost track LOL) The good news is Brown can't sell them.
Not sure how many we have but have just seen on Soccernet that Darren Fletcher (Manyoo) has been linked with a loan move to either us or Wigan.
Its a shame in some ways because he's been doing so well. Injuries to Atouba, Gardner, King, Edman, and Deano's lengthy absence mean he had to come back. Hope you find a more than adequate replacement.
I wouldn't mind sending Richards to Upton Park for a month or so to get back into shape and kind of help them out since we took Davenport back early. Only problem is I am not for sure if West Ham would take Richards as a replacement. Just thought it would be a good gesture to them as they have helped us with Davenport.
I'm not sure Richards is in any state to play footie right now. I think some sort of deal was offered to Tano, but he wants Ipswich, retirement, or Cagliari.
No thank God! The scans came back negative. But what he has got, who knows? Who's going to replace Davenport?
