Okay, the official site doesn't say much, but Deano has basically been affected with 'inner-ear' problems since pre-season. It is now suspected that he may have a brain tumour, and he's awaiting the results of a scan. The results of the scan will be known on Wednesday.

Fingers crossed it's nothing serious and he can get back to full fitness, and continue to let the opposition run riot in our area again for years to come.

soccernet.com is saying that richards' specialist has told him that it is highly unlikely that his condition includes a brain tumor. it doesn't go into any greater detail on what the condition is, but it sounds as though richards is breathing alot easier today.

    good news, indeed.

    From spurs.co.uk

Dean Richards has issued the following message...

"The report from the specialist confirmed that the likelihood of my having a brain tumour is extremely low. I remain very positive and will continue to carry out my duties as a Spurs player. I have been overwhelmed with messages of goodwill and would like to thank everyone for their support."

He might need until the summer to get back into any kind of shape to where we could sell him for a reasonable amount of money.

I don't think anyone would want him at all right now or in the next few months. He had better play some first team football before the deadline.
